Atomic and Portsmouth got dates too but overall I'm not understanding the purpose of buying the All Stars.

Had to keep the all stars from scheduling against Hi Limit because that's where some of the field fillers will come from .
Within hearing distance of Tri City Speedway

I guess it was financially easier to eliminate them than to compete with them. But for what, 5 race cars.
The start alone.....2 races at East Bay.....that's a big tow for 2 races. Then 10 days later 2 shows in Georgia. Didn't know there was any sprint cars in Ga at all.
Texarkana is 1 hour from me. Over the years I have supported and gone to some different tracks here, 20 cars is a full car count most nights and zero are 410. Most of the 360 shows had a lot of 305 cars in the field. Where are they going to get the cars from to support it?
There are shows in May, June and July on Saturday nights in Mo, and midwest. I'm not sure where the cars are going to be coming from to compete.
I'm not trying to be Mr. Negative I just don't see where the support will come from. If I'm missing something please tell me.

They were trying to get a 2 day show at Plymouth but if that happened I understand that the IRA was never going to have another event at a certain other Wisconsin track.
It's all about business and protecting what you've invested your life in. Business isn't all sunshine and roses. Business is business and these guys running tracks didn't get what they have by making poor decisions on a regular basis.
HL is the new kid on the block.....I remember going to a USA Sprint show in Memphis so I've seen this before.

It's going to be a good year for Corey Day, Justin Sanders and perhaps Dominic Scelzi. They'll be running for big money at Chico and Skagit against Brad Sweet, Zeb Wise, Jacob Allen and...the rest of the usual NARC competitors.Good for them. I hope that they spank the tiny number HL guys and take all the money.

I don't know if Kofoid will be in the Roth car; I have no inside knowledge, but I'm guessing he will be. McFadden in one, running the Outlaws and Kofoid in the other running either pick-and-choose or High Limit.

I don't know if you noticed but they scheduled a race in Missouri the weekend of Cedar Lake's annual two-day show as well. No love shown to the upper Midwest by High Limit but I wasn't expecting any when all the tracks from Knoxville to Canada stuck with WoO.

Teams would be screaming over the 2,700+ mile haul from Skagit on a Sunday to Port Royal on mid-day Thursday with anyone else...but with only Brad, Kasey, and Jacob there's not much screaming to do at this point I guess. And that's after starting in Chico and going up to Skagit around 900 miles on a stretch of 8 races in 10 days at 4 different tracks in 3 states. Even the ghost of Ted Johnson himself is looking down (or up lol) at that one thinking "man, that's pretty optimistic....".

I am not sure how many Eastern cars will go to Skagit. Port has started to see All Star cars on Monday of that week in resent years as they race five times in eight days during the fair.

Maybe they could have some sort of Smokey & The Bandit promotional tie-in with Coors Light or something.
