No WOO races at port and there will be multiple doubleheaders of Lucas Oil Late Model and HL races is what I had heard. WOO and Lucas oil late models co exist with no issues doesnt sound like the WOO and HL sprint are exactly heading down that same path just my opinion!

I thought I read the HL series were going to work with the AFCS and do a Ohio speedweek. Isn't this date in conflict with the normal week they usually had Ohio speedweek?

OH Speedweek is earlier in June. No conflict on the dates.

It might be the first weekend of Pa speedweek but that is far enough away that it is no big deal. It might affect a couple of each way but no fans.

I stumbled upon LOS one Thursday on my way to Dodge City a few years back. They were racing and I got there at intermission so I saw the cab & mud turtle features. I thought then it was a super nice facility but probably not a good sprint car track.

If this is true....who is the one that will NOT work with the other? Aren't the WOO supposed to be the leaders. The WOO have to get over themselves - they are not the only gig in town. We as fans lose because the WOO can't work wih anyone but the WOO.
Everyone is saying the HL did this and that against the WOO, but it looks like it is more the other way around. The WOO takes the cake for not allowing there drivers the freedom to race when and where they see fit outside there races.
Yes, I will be going to some WOO and HL races this year.
Let's go Sprint Car Racing!
Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

I too live closer to TriCity and I55 raceway in Pevely and am hoping they stick with the WoO! If they want my money it will have to be the OUTLAWS! I've been through the USA and NST and simply refuse to support anyone but the OUTLAWS! They have been the driving force for sprintcars for nearly 50 years and I will continue my support of the Greatest show on dirt!

The Allstar Circuit of Champions are the original National Touring group starting back in 1970... The WOO needs a name change... The World of Platinum Drivers...

There will be no Woo sprint or late model shows at Port in 2024.

Where did you see this? I hope its not true
I'm on the "support any sprint car racing" faction... who cares what organization sanctions it?
I've seen great races with all of 'em, Allstars, WoO, High Limit, USAC, POWRi... & some not so good
I'm not really interested in the business issues or power struggles...

I agree fans shouldn't have to worry about politics in Sprint car racing but at the end of the day this a business with sponsers and shareholders and all that but the WRG is gonna run it like a business and do what they think is best for it. They have to view HL as a competitor for entertainment dollars the average fan probably don't have enough to support another national series. If they don't race at Port I will not be surprised these lines in the sand have drawn before so it will be interesting to see how it plays out.
