June 28-29 at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO. A two-day show that will be called the Diamond Classic.
What this tells me is that the HL Racing series will be predominately hitting Lucas Oil Late Model series tracks.
Lucas Oil Speedway is just the first. I expect other tracks like Tri-City Speedway in Pontoon Beach, IL., Eldora, Port Royal, 34 Raceway, Smoky Mountain Speedway, Lernerville, as well as Muskingum Co., Portsmouth, and I expect tracks like Tri-State, Brownstown as well as other tracks in the midwest and California to be on the schedule for the HL Sprint Cars.

Logan Seavey, Corey Day and "Big Sexy" Brandon Overton

Saw the race announcement, not sure how this is a salvo though??? WoO hasn't been there in 15 years.
The big tracks (like Eldora and Port) will have both series in 2024.

It's great to hear that the HL Racing series will be holding a two-day event called the Diamond Classic at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO, on June 28-29. This suggests that the series will be focusing on Lucas Oil Late Model series tracks, and we can expect to see races at other tracks like Tri-City Speedway, Eldora, Port Royal, 34 Raceway, Smoky Mountain Speedway, Lernerville, Muskingum Co., Portsmouth, Tri-State, Brownstown, and other tracks in the Midwest and California. One of the most unique features of Basket Random is the special skill system. Each character in the game has its own set of special skills, allowing players to use unique skills to create beautiful shots.

I'm near Tri City. I would rather watch Outlaws.

I too live closer to TriCity and I55 raceway in Pevely and am hoping they stick with the WoO! If they want my money it will have to be the OUTLAWS! I've been through the USA and NST and simply refuse to support anyone but the OUTLAWS! They have been the driving force for sprintcars for nearly 50 years and I will continue my support of the Greatest show on dirt!

Agreed. Until we see the full schedules if both groups we really don't know what this is going to look like. I have to believe Brian Carter isn't going to make changes to counteract to all of this.

I look forward to watching LOS rubber up no later than the second heat race.

There will be no Woo sprint or late model shows at Port in 2024.

Maybe it's a high stakes game of 'schedule chicken'. Nobody wants to show all of their cards just yet.
No puns intended.

Only change for me is I wouldn't mind seeing some midget races sprinkled in with the WOO in the midwest. Now that we will possibly be having less cars because the other guys are growing the sport and splitting the fields. And yes must be alot of schmoozing going on with tracks and promoters before schedules come out!! CAN'T WAIT FOR KNOXVILLE 2024!!

This is what I'm wondering as well. I just love dirt track racing no matter who it is. I will go see the Outlaws at I-55 and if the HL Series is at Tri-City I'll go see them. This, "I'm only supporting the World of Outlaws" and "I'm only supporting The High Limit Series" is the reason sprint car racing is hurting! Why can't you support both????

The Ironman weekend with the Xtreme Midgets are already on the Outlaw and Xtreme schedules.

I'm pretty sure everyone on here supports Sprint car racing. My questions are what is this going to do to the sport? Is it gonna make it better? Is splitting the traveling teams feasible for two national tours? Some of us have been around for the USA and NST and seen the results. Is getting rid of a 50 year regional brand help it? Can fans afford to go to more big money races? These are questions that won't be answered for a while. My concern is history repeating itself and that's usually not good.

We do know Brad will not defend his WOO title and Rico Brad and Kyle when he can will be the face of HL. David Carmen Logan and Sheldon and Donny will headline Outlaws and when they all get together will be best racing. Tyler could go either way.

maybe you should expand your racing outlook...
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..
Life is good...

As you mentioned I think we all support sprint car racing. Now its a matter of many choices. I'll choose to support my local tracks and only hit a couple of big paying big general admission shows. The top dollar sprint car series really don't give me much action for my buck anymore, probably not much more if any than a local show. Sadly some of the local shows are becoming boring now so I've started going back to the thrill of motorcycle flat track racing, some of our local promoters were happy the motorcycle crowds they had at the few events scheduled this year and are considering more events next year. The only downside to the bike racing is that the shows are damn near an all day event.

I agree. Wheatland with some good Black Knoxville Gumbo on it might change things but yes I agree. The fascility itself is a Premier Top shelf place but not the track. I have heard the Late Models are good there but this I will never know first hand!

I can't remember the last time the late models put on a good feature there.
