That's not new. I have seen the Spanish language Dove commercial on Flo many times. My Moms family came here from Poland. She told me that spoke Polish at home but English in public! So people can learn English, Spanish language commercials should not be needed.

"So people can learn English, Spanish language commercials should not be needed". Of course. But until they learn it, all these companies want to sell them stuff. Whats wrong with that?

NO commercials are "needed", but companies want to make $$$

Flipping the coin on this subject, when I was at LoneStar I built lots of radio ads for the local stations, and decided why not translate them and put them on the Hispanic radio stations as well.

It was easy, and it absolutely worked.

In this case, they'd bring their whole families and you could see the amazement in their eyes as they arrived on the concourse for the first time, and I know 'muy poco' Spanish, so I'd just welcome them point out 'banos' 'cervesa' and they all loved every minute of it.

Honestly, I wish there was a lot more diversity in the stands at the dirt tracks as it is a family entertainment venue - regardless what your family comprises of. It just seems a lot of the nation doesn't even know dirt track racing exists.

Once again, they're not "needed". Companies want to sell stuff to Spanish speaking people... its called Capitalism. How do ads in Spanish hurt you????

So did the Pilgrims learn Iroquois or any other Native American language?

I'm pretty content that a lot of the nation doesn't even know dirt track racing exists. Seems there is enogh to keep it going strong. Let the masses enjoy have their inner city burnout and drifting displays, that's real driving.

Back to native america, really ? I visit other countries, going to Europe for a month, I use a app on my phone to communicate.  If I would decide to live in another country learning the language would be one of the highest priorities for me.  Maybe I should see if one of the places I'm visiting will have my native language right beside there's.

If hearing Spanish is shock, I have to wonder what country you've been living in the last 20 years.

WOW, You do realize the majority of people outside of the US can speak and read many different languages. Only dumb ass Amercians like you give the rest of us a bad name. Let me guess, you probably have 3 Ameican flags in your yard, a couple Trump flags and a confederate flag.  Prove me wrong.

Hate to inform you but the US is a small fish in a BIG world. Try and get some culture in your life.

not hurting me but paid the subscription price to watch unadultrated racing, not commercials...I happen to live 35 miles north of Nogales AZ/MX.  Telamundo is a spanish channel for those who do not speak "English"...

Then you should be whining about commercials in general & not singling out Spanish ones

So you want "to watch unadultrated racing"? How about that same idea for discussions on HH?

By the way, its "unadulterated"... its time you earned English! wink
