4 Ohio Speedweek wins in last 3 years; 2nd in the 2021 Kings Royal and many other non field filler results away from PA for the 48 in the last few years for sure.  I respect DD, Marks, Macri for traveling and those guys all perform well away from PA.

The DD/Freddie thing is getting out of hand.  One of the problems is the tracks/series' are more likely to penalize/suspend drivers for whooping someones' ass in the pits than they are for dangerous moves on the track, so they bear some of the responsibility for the on track shenanagons (sp?) IMO.

During the summer of Covid DD traveled to central US and raced with the allstars.  If I remember he we more than field filler then.  It seems to me that most of you don't like a particular racer your inner key board comando comes out and you will say anything to trash talk them Brian Brown, DD, Little Freddie ect.

I feel bad for Brownie and Ramher that you mentioned them in the same sentence with the 48 driver. DD deserves his bashing, I don't see how his driving and interviews elevate his status as a driver, he's just frustrated and can't win many races this year. High caliber drivers learn to deal with a bad year and try to inprove for next year. Destoying other teams equipment sends a message of desperation but he probably don't give an F.

Danny is one hell of a driver. He's had a bit if a down period but he's still in the hunt. Just hasn't been getting the wins he usually does. Tons of 2nd's and 3rd's. But make no mistake about it, when he's on his game and his car is working, he can win against anyone and he can do it from outside the first 3 rows too. Very few drivers are as good at passing cars. Anyone who disagrees with that either doesn't know any better or is blinded by their own biases. The fact that he behaved like a total shithead last Friday doesn't take anything away from his ability to drive which is unquestionable. He's one of the best. He can build a car and set it up too. He's a true asset to the sport when he wants to be which is why it pisses me off to see him embarrassing himself and acting like an ass. He's always fun to watch.

I could careless what Danny or Freddie have to say about how they race each other.   Let those two go out on the track by themselves and let them go at it.

Let's go Sprint Car Racing!

Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

He was 4 pounds from winning the Kings Royal in 2021.

He may as well have kept his mouth shut!  That statement mean't nothing.  He will continue race and run his mouth like he always has.

Just like some in here think brian brown is overrated, in my opinion Dietrich and rahmer are both way overrated. When the big dogs roll in they are both nothing but field fillers honestly.

Danny feels it's my racetrack to and refuses to give anyone racing room. He can be fast in central pa but get him outside state lines and he's a field filler. When the all stars or outlaws come to town he won't race them the same way. When they get the car right and he runs up front he blocks just as much as Freddie if not more. Hopefully the stupidity they both show at times won't cause a big one that has to get a driver a ride in the ambulance. I've sat and watched Freddie chop people going into the corners multiple times, I've also seen DD take someone to the wall.

Not a DD fan in the slightest, but at least he goes outside of state lines. He won a OH speedweek race this year. Freddie's become a cherry picking 1 track wonder who won't even show up to Selinsgrove for 10G to win/1000 to start on a Sunday night anymore, and he has 2 rides.

Freddie works a full time job as a stainless steel fabricator. I'm sure that has a lot to do with it. Selinsgrove is 2.5 hour haul from where he is. I work in an industry he serves and we're on mandatory overtime right now so they likely are working some extra hours too. Could also be equipment related. I know scheduling engine rebuilds is tricky right now with the random part shortages and whatnot.

Both of them have one issue: qualifying. They routinely pass a lot of cars when the traveling series are in town. It's nearly impossible to win those shows when you're starting 18th. If they could get their respective qualifying programs on track, they'd be up front.

The true Outlaws can race with in inches and do slide jobs to perfection or use the brakes.Sprint cars are not a 1400 # weapon. When two drivers have differences settle it like men of course that wouldnt be called a racing deal . Its not WWE where the outcome is script

I couldn't agree more. That's what should've happened last Friday if there was an issue but instead, a bunch of cars got busted up. Luckily no one was hurt this time. Park the cars, take off the helmets, tell the pit crews/wives/parents to stay out of it and discuss it face to face.

I'll definitely 2nd this. That car would have a beautiful classic look if they'd just put a proper sized number on the wing. Eichelberger has had some really good looking rides over the years while pretty much sticking to his classic look......just fix the number

Man, it's nice to know I'm not the only one who gets eyelid twitches from that number 8 on the wing lol.

I think the problem is that they ordered all tail tank sized numbers and no wing sized numbers. This is an easy fix.

But if they really want to get crazy, they also need to order actual tail tank numbers that conform to the contours of the tank with a bit of a 'forward' slant. But hey, one thing at a time.

I just watched it too, thought it was pretty much a racing deal

I wonder if it would be such a big controversy if not for the rivalry?

Obviously Danny's post race comments didn't help... he's NOT a diplomat!

They both need to cool it before somebody gets seriously injured
