Perhaps because I don't watch races on Dirt Vision except for the Knoxville Nationals, I've noticed they cut away and don't show red flag conditions. The announcer will yell something about a flip, an accident, or fire and immediately cut away and not show anything. Why is that?

The first crash I would think of the severity of the crash and driver injuries..He was concious and talking but said they had to cut the cage to extracate him..

I assumed it is because if there is a serious injury or ,God forbid, death they do not want to show it. Once driver is declared OK they usually show the crash on replay if they have it. I don't blame them for not wanting to show a driver getting injured or an injured driver getting removed from a mangled racecar. I really do not want to see a crash or replay of it if I am actually seeing someone hurt or killed.

Agreed, they don't usually show replays of bad crashes unless they know the driver is OK. In this case both drivers wer conscious and communicating but both needed an ambulance ride to the hospital with no report to the extenet of their injuries.

Both of them happened right in front of me! Very scary in both instances.
Let's go Sprint Car Racing!
Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

Becasue no one likes facts. And if we just pretend something didn't, or isn't, happen(ing), it didn't. So show the sunset or commercials, and the incident never happened.
