Anyone going to the years most busy month of racing in such a tight area?

I agree dirt is where it is at, but in 1996 we were down there and after the races at the dirt track me and Larry jumped the fence and watched the midgets and mods on the pavement. They are scary fast on pavement. I wouldn't mind seeing a USAC show on pavement sometime.

Tony Anderson and I ran our modifieds on pavement at a quarter mile track in Bronson Florida in the mid 90's. I think I finished 5th in the feature as I was throwing her sideways in the corners and had everybody afraid to pass me. I also think between the hot laps, heat race and feature I used around 10 tires. One year we ran our modifieds in Florida we had 4 spare motors with us and I blowed every motor that we had. Ah those were the days
