Passin down the info from tom last night at the banquet the factory stock rules for 2008 will remain the same with the exception of the Mono Ball bushings they are out !!!

THERE WILL BE NO ALUMINUM SPEC INTAKE AND NO RESTRICTOR PLATES PUT INTO THE RULES !!

winners dont cry when they lose , they go back to the

So thats the only change Shawn? So if a person was to run SFS, they would still have to compete against $10,000 motors? Looks like I will not be there for sure. I can't afford that kind of money to run up front!

Good luck with the mod next year!

what a bunch of geniuses.................(sfs officials)
in listening to ya'lls reasons for not runnin the class - you guys got it right. Is my assumption that it's just the few perennial top drivers left that want these rules the way they are? Seems the few that are left don't mind being the only ones out there..........what choices will be left for that class if come start of next season it is just dismal?

ah well - I'm pretty sure everyone knows what I think on the matter - but I have started taking bets as to when the class will get the boot next season.............5 bets on the table so far. so far only one that has bet it will be in the 2nd half of the season. man we find ways to bet on anything and everything. suprised we didn;t bet how much total ice accumalation we would receive by Tuesday. lol

It don't matter what the final decision is....we will never be satisfied. We as humans can ALWAYS find something to bitch about. I grew up knowing Factory Stocks to be an entry level class but $10,000 don't seem to entry level to me. Now days the entry level is a $10 Grandstand Ticket. The way I see it is the Modifieds are the best class going. They are soooooo bad ass. Good luck to all that is moving up next year.
