I'm looking for the book "Dialed In" for a gift. Does anyone have a hardbound copy they are willing to part with? I've heard they reprinted it in paperbound but I would like to have the hardbound version.
Thanks in advance,
Cheryl

Cheryl, Suggestion--call the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum's toll free phone number: 1-800-874-4488. They have an extensive range of racing books for sale. Hopefully they can help you.

I just checked my most recent mailings from the Sprint Car Hall of Fame which included a list of available books.
They list Dialed In available for $29.95. Doesn't say whether it's hard or softbound though.

National Sprint Car Hall of Fame has softcover according to the online store. But, even that says Out-of-Stock when you try to order it:
Dialed In: Jan Opperman
Dialed
In: The Jan Opperman Story by John Sawyer, soft cover - Long awaited
reprint of the classic auto-racing story. From a teenage street
fighter, motorcycle flat track racer and California hippie to respected
sprint car driver and Indy 500 racer, Jan Opperman's story is
remarkable. Softcover, 144 pages, 38 black & white illustrations.
Visit their online store here: https://www.sprintcarstuff.com/

When I went to www.dogpile.com (my search engine of choice) there were several listings... but the one that most surprised me was on www.speedwaymotors.com . They have a complete section for books, dvd's, etc. They didn't specify, but I'd imagine that their copy is also a "paperback" version at $29.95 - or whatever it was. I generally do my Christmas shopping with the Sprint Car Hall of Fame, but it's nice to know there are other sources.
