It appears something is going to to take place that hasn't happened in quite a while. There is a baby blue #69 that will take to the semi-high banked track in Darke county for the 1st time since I'm gonna guess the 1993 HBO? Maybe someone can help out with the exact history.

I know Donald was set to run the 25th Anniversary of the Kings Royal in 2008 but then the monsoon came and they headed back home.

Anyways, should be an interesting mix of cars as many teams are prepping for the Million in July. It kinda reminds me of the the non-wang shows in 2003 leading up to the Mopar Million, which were very interesting and well supported.

Looks like Donald was there in 1998 last. Lance was last there in 2008.

The Third Turn has become a tremendous historical resource for those that have never used it.

He sure had a great run in the A last night at Atomic. Started deep in the field and moved up from 22nd to 8th at the finish, and was named the hard charger of the race. Too bad he couldn't have had a better starting position - might have very well contended for the win. Great run Lance, Donny, and crew!

Yeah, looked like he was the first one to find the bottom and may have picked up a few more spots if not for the late race cautions. Some of the other guys got the memo and moved down. Good show at Atomic, great track.

How does Kyle Larson get to start first in the b main if he was disqualified in the heat? Surely not have to start in the back of the C  main

Johnny explained that rule when he was going over the lineup just prior to the B.   It's based on time trials.   The fastest qualifiers that don't qualify through the heat race are the front row of the B, or somethng like that.   I'm not sure if it's just for the front row or the pole position.

Thx. I always thought the b main pole went to the first non qualifier of heat 1 and outside pole to first kisser of heat 2.

I think Schatz parked next to Rico and some of Ricky Warners knowledge filtered over to the 15.

Was it me, or did the crowd seem light this weekend for such a great double header?

I was wondering that too. I only watched Friday but it looked like the bottom half of the stands were empty.
