His car owner must know as much about pro racing as he does about pro football as a head football coach!!

Great how the guy didn't even know the rules and lost the game at Buffalo yesterday!! "A real Pro"!

Not a Stewart Fan here by any means, but I believe a person with a heart would understand that whole ordeal.

I believe the Emotion involved was a bit overbearing......they'd just had a team member Murdered.....I can understand him forgetting, trying, or whatever with the 2nd timeout.......I try not to knock others favorites down in public, because to each their own, but when a fan speaks out of their ass, its a shame.

but when a fan speaks out of their ass, its a shame.

for once - it ain't me................lol.

why do you always knock your favorite driver? I don't think I ever seen you say a positive thing bout him...........and it is a bit strange you knock on Gibbs or anything Redskin related.........man they just had one of their players murdered. he was liked by almost all who knew him - and even like by those who got laid out by him. thats just the emotional impact that team had to deal with - the practical fact was their Strong Safety who also happened to be one of the best hitters and high powered forces in the league is no longer on the field. it wasn't some off-season decision or trade or somethin. Taylor had missed 2 games and was due to be back and you do build a gameplan around such a good player. So when he is murdered by a bunch of thugs - on top of being deeply saddened for the loss of a friend - their game plan on the field is messed up as well.

Joe Gibbs - whether you like him or not - is quite an extraordinary individual. To field race teams and coach an NFL team at same time - and be successful with both - is a VERY underestimated accomplishment.

How much would could a wouldchuck chuck if a

Amen, Amen, Amen! I don't think I could have said it any better.

Anyone who knows me, knows I'm a Stewart and a Joe Gibbs fan and I don't see how you can be a fan. What do you call your self when you actually like them? I have been reading this stupid shit for a while now and all I can do is laugh. I also would like to know how "Intact" you would be if you just lost a real close loved one? I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one on here that can make a fool of him self. I think you just might have me beat.

Go Tony Stewart!!

Wait a minite here!! I've been a Stewart and open wheel fan for years, and you are on me for holding him and his owner accountable? Come on now? I am not one to promote anyone who acts and talks with a double tongue. Anyone who gets my support in 'ANYTHING' has to be a cut above the rest or at least have the heart attempting it. How in the world can I honestly defend some of his actions over the last few years! I can't, you can't, and only good media blurs can do it, to a certain point that is.

As for Coach Gibbs, its a sad and sorry thing!! I think its nice that most of the media went soft on him, about the timeout thing! And there very little news to the fact, that Coach Gibbs, HAD NO IDEA THAT THE SKINS WERE GOING TO START THE GAME WITH THE MISSING MAN FORMATION! Now what does that tell us?????? Call it knocking, call it what you will, but the truth is, its the truth!!!!!!!

I've been playing and coached and watched football all my life. I didn't know about the back to back timeout rule. How many of us that are on this thread did? Be honest now. You don't have to answer to me but only answer to yourself. I choose to cut Gibbs a break. As for bashing Tony, well, I've done some of that myself recently. But he's still very good in the seat.

What I would like to know is........ What's up with these "Stewie awards"? Who the hell is Tony Stewart to be judging and giving awards. Pretty arogant if you ask me.

He was a flamer who did a much better job of getting everyone riled up than the OP. Of course, he ragged on Joonyer mostly, which is kinda like shootin' fish in a barrel.

BTW, Bucky

It's not HOW fast you go, but how you GO fast.

Is only about half right. It should be "It's not how fast you go, it's how fast you make all the laps." That seems so obvious but it always amazes me how many don't understand that.

I understand completely. But in the name of brevity, I paraphrased. And I'm working on ALL the laps.

Yall can say what you want about Tony but he is one of only a few that has not let Nascar and Politics change him completly. We can sit back and JUDGE famous people all we want. The question is what would people say about us if we was in their shoes. Since we are all so perfect here on tidbits. Half the people who talk shit would be one of the first in line for an autograph. I've seen it with my own two eyes. That is cool though because good or bad his name is still being advertized.
