Look at Bill Rose or Wayne Johnson. Those incentives being a platinum member is the only thing that can keep them out there. Shark racing did not do the west coast swing, why, because back then Bobby didn't have a reliable source of transportation to get the teams there and back.
Central pa is and always will be the hub of sprint car racing true outlaw. You can pick and choose local, woo or all star races that all pay good money on any given weekend and still sleep in your own bed most nights. Being on the road as much as some of those do is the most stressful situation. A decent meal, clean clothing are things nobody thinks about when these guys are away from there home shop for extended periods of time.
The platinum deal keeps feeding money into teams like rose and Johnson without it they would never survive.

How about NEVER responding to that turd? You DO antagonize him more than anyone else. That would knock at least 50% of his posts away. IGNORE HIM......and don't play that game, "well someone else started it" IGNORE HIM.

That was intended to be a joke, not a political statement. Subsitute "welfare" or "unsustainable" or "freebie" for "commie" and the message remains the same. The bottom line is you don't get something for nothing in most cases.
