16 points separate Sweet and Gravel heading into the World Finals. Does Sweet hold on to raise the trophy, or does Gravel nose him out at the finish line? Gravel has always been an excellent time trialer while Sweet and the KKR team have the experience, having been in a dogfight with Schatz in 2019.

The chalk pick would obviously be Sweet with the 16 point cushion and a refocused mindset following the broken rear axle at the Grove, but I'm not so sure. What do you all think, new champ, or four consecutive titles?

Pulling for gravel but I think sweet takes it. Sweet is good at managing races, staying out of trouble, and not losing a bunch of points. Only way gravel takes it is if sweet gets in a wreck or another mechanical failure.

Suppose they both do about the same early in the evening and are still 16 points apart at feature time. How many spots ahead of Sweet does Gravel have to finish to win the championship?

If Gravel wins Sweet needs 8th to tie, 7th to win. If Gravel doesnt win, Sweet needs to finish 7 spots or less behind Gravel to win.
