Tonight at Husets not 1, but 2 kids age 16 will be on the same track as a 69 year old still out there doing it? Has there ever been a larger age gap in a 410 race?

And they finished 1st and 2nd.   Corey Day and then Ryan Timms.   Hell of a race.

Nice seeing the kids out there but I think Ryan Timms, although skilled, is a loose cannon who takes unnessary chances..Didn't do much in Grand Forks but worked hard in Fargo..Still got lots to learn and to be patient..

Both were very fast and will have a bright future. I dont know the biggest age gap but the last Outlaw Mini Mod race i ran I was 75 and there was a young man that was 13. I had became a competitor not competitive.

He actually came up to Grand Forks in July for a race, so it was his 2nd visit to RCS.  That night he spun in turn 1 after taking the opening green.  RCS was quite gracious in waiting about 5-7 minutes for him to repair his car.  He restarted at the tail and came back to finish 4th (I believe).  Impressive WoO debut nonetheless.

To be fair, isn't that a description of about 1/4 of all the drivers out there?
