All the big guys looking pretty racey as of late. Sweet getting wins at places he's never won. Macedo and Gravel right there also. And Donny Knoxville looking as fast as he's been all year. I don't think we're gonna see a Brent Marks Cinderella domination or a Brian Brown elusive victory this year. I think its gonna be those 4 powerhouse teams trading blows for 15 rounds. With the wildcard in all this being the 57. Should be a barn burner.

And on the other hand let's remember one year that the 57 couldn't even qualify for the A main on his qualifying night...let's just go to Knoxville and find out!

It's nice heading into the Nationals where there is no clear favorite/one to beat unlike the "Donny Years".

The "Donny Years" may have been extended. Coming from 8th to 1st in the Cappy and passing alot of good cars was impressive. While he got passed in the end (which is rare at Knoxville) he looked like the fastest car.

Is the title of this thread some sort of vague reference to some shenanigans that may have went on in Knoxville over the weekend off track? All the cool kids on twitter keep making cryptic comments about something juicy happening.

Huh?

Kind of interesting that Logan was there, but Jacob wasn't?

If memory serves he ran it the first year as a tune up but never ran in the feature. 2020 was essentially the Nationals-lite due to COVID, 2021 was the first year he ran a real Cappy A Main (as it's usually run (Sunday before the Nats for a pedestrian purse)).

If I remember correctly, that year he ran on Wednesday night on a wet, heavy track, everyone had trouble transfering through the heats, and Donny barely made it in.  It doesn't appear that will be an issue this year.

Sounds like the battle on the racetrack wasn't the only fighting at Knoxville over the weekend.  Something about Tyler Courtney sleeping with PPM's girl during his cancer treatment (and he has a rep for doing this kind of thing with other racers wives) and a fight between them that PPM won

Correct, that was the night hardly anyone could pass in the heat races and several good drivers couldn't make it.   Unlikely to happen again, but ya just never know...

I'm betting Tyler pulled his Joystick back and gave her the Slide Job where the Sun Don't  Shine.

No actually I had no idea about Sunshine and his "antics" lol.

He's not the reason for Brent Marks recently becoming single is he?  Fuckin hell Sunshine....

I agree. He looked very good almost like a few years ago. The only difference was that Logan got back around him. I wouldn't count him out this year.

Gotta remember last year too. I think Donny gets Kyle if that race goes 51 laps. He was obviously the best car on track at the end. Donny Knoxville ain't done yet.

I also wanna hear about this PPM/Sunshine fight. Surprising to hear that PPM allegedly beat him down. I would've lost money on Sunshine tbh.

Well interestingly enough we had another night where nobody could pass in the heats.    Schatz did OK with it, but quite a few others did not.
