Lincion speedway twitter states hoosier will only supply 24 tires Sat. night. 410's only division racing. Will scott and jerry knock five bucks off of admission, maybe a discount to an upcoming monster jam event? hoosier daddy now track promoters?

Only thing Scott Gobrecht *ever* did for racing was cut down on the Legends at Lincoln events. His brain would explode if he was asked to think any more critically.

Would it not br better if all classes of sprint cars ran the same tire s.. It would make things better for Hoosiers as they would only have to make one set of tires.  Wy does ASCS have a different tire rule on Hoosiers than WOO.  Makes no sence.  Two tracks 100 miles apart had different tire rule with Hoosiers.  Think of a tire dealer just having to worry about 1 set of tires for all classes.  Hoosier can not supply Hoosier tires for 360 for 2 months.  Dealers get 7 tires for 30 cars.  Several dealers have said this.  The tires are $315 but they do not have any.

Does American Racer still make sprint car tires? If so, are they having the same issues? If Hoosier can't meet demand, I don't understand why the tracks and series don't open up the tire rule to run what you brung. The show must go on.

They are probably having the same issues getting ahold of raw materials.

Supply chain shortages are going to kill the supply chain itself.  Already very hard for racers to get tires and motor parts.   Now there is a Semi Truck parts shortage compounding the problem.  Also a pending Railroad strike that has been delayed for now.

Maybe it's time to let teams build their car instead of buy it to assemble. Imagine the fun.... 1960 throwback.

What type of tires do you propose those teams build?

Oh my,! I didnt realize I needed a million words to eliminate all required thinking. Go back to the 60 if you can. They didnt build tires, they used the best option they had behind the barn. Do you also realize they are not actually building the pipe for roll cages or rims for tires or cylinder heads for engines. They used avaialble items and modified them to suit their liking. Maybe they made their own fuel.

If you dont get the point now please just ignore my comment because I suspect I dont speak American well enough for a racing forum. Perhaps I could get a job in your favorite credit card customer service department.

This is two many efggs in 1 basket.  Hooser went to every organization and track to get a tire deal.  They gave money for point funds.  As we know they just raise the price of tires to pay for point fund money.   So the racers pay for the point fund.  I think they have to have tires for nationals so they are not shipping out tires now to build up supply.  Who Knows for sure?   The WOO seem to get tires.

Eliminate the Hoosier monopoly and all these problems go away. Track should set the tire specs and then let any tire manufacturer cpmpete for the business.

I'm sitting on a Hossier D15 RR micro tire from over 20 years ago, never used still has the nipples. I think I'm going hang on to it a while longer, Include it in my retirement portfolio.

The railroads will be ordered back to work within a short time after striking.  They will appoint a presidential emergency board to get involved in the settlement.  We went on strike one time in the 90's and we're back to work the same day.

I can only read what you write.

You can't go back to 1960. Shall I get off your lawn now?

It might eliminate a lot of problems, but it won't make race tires available any faster.
