I see the Justin Henderson and Matt Juhl are both from Tea SD. ( I got that from the web). A town of 6000, ( also from the web). I was wondering if these two were at one time working with each other and that it developed into each driving themselves. I know I could phone them, possibly spend 3 days looking on the web, but i choose to ask a forum on winged sprint car racing. Partially because i hope for some details someone who knows them may add to create a " conversation", and partially because the top 6 threads in the list today have been over taken by complainers complaining about complainers complaining.

Maybe we could talk about a spring car driver or two.

Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Tea is a bedroom community of Sioux Falls, S.D. a metropolitan area of about 200,000 people. It's city limits touch the Sioux Falls city limits. They probably know each other from racing against each other at Husets Speedway in Brandon, S.D., another bedroom community of Sioux Falls. I've met both, they're good guys.

Used to have a great Steakhouse. Not sure it's still there. Also used to buy my fireworks there. Did Wolfgang have his shop there at one time?

Justin started his sprint car career in 1996 - winning the 360 sprint car title at Lake County Speedway in 1997. He's a second generation driver - son of Rod Henderson who had a storied career around the Upper Midwest and also had success around the country. Rod has six career sprint car feature wins at Huset's Speedway.

Matt Juhl starting racing in 2010 - he'd receive rookie of the year honors that year for his competition in the 360 sprints at the then Jackson Speedway half mile. Juhl was from Estherville, Iowa, at the time before moving to South Dakota a few years later. Juhl won his first race at Jackson in August of 2010. He'd start racing regularly at Huset's in 2012 and was RoY that year there - and followed up in 2013 with the 360 sprint title at Huset's.

Bottom line - two great racers who happen to have the same zip code.
