“Powerfeed” back at F&F Racing

Roseville, Ca. (11-23-07) David Robinson also known as “Powerfeed” has returned to the sprint car stables of F&F Racing owned by Alan Bradway and Steve Tuccelli. After a short hiatus to help launch his son Ryan’s Kart career Robinson will pilot the F&F Racing’s, Kaeding Performance, Maxim Chassis #x1 sprint car for the 2008 season. Robinson will compete for his third Championship in the prestigious California Sprint Car Civil War Series and various 360 and 410 events throughout the year. Robison to date has 32 wins under his belt and is rated one of the most spectacular racers on the West coast. “ We’re very excited to have David back in the seat. He’s part of the original team that got F&F Racing off the ground and has a driving style that adds to the excitement of sprint car racing” said Co-owner Steve Tuccelli. As an acknowledgement to his former driver of the past two years “Colby Wiesz has been an asset to this Team and Organization and will be quite the contender on the track. It will definitely be an interesting 2008 season”. For more information as the 2008 racing season unfolds visit F&F Racing’s website at http://www.fnfracing.com.

It'll be good to see"Powerfeed" back in action. He's always been one of my favorite's to watch and I was bummed when he announced his retirement at the end of '06.

Also best of luck to Colby next year. He really showed how good he is at the end of this season at the Gold Cup and the Fall Nationals and I think he'll have a great year with John Taylor Motorsports.

The Civil War Series championship battle should be a good one next year with Forsberg, Wiesz, Powerfeed, Andy Gregg and more.

Andy Gregg has sure had a great year this year winning races! I remember not long ago when he struggled to make the A main and now he is up at the front at all the races. I think he is good enough to run with the GSC if they have the sponsership and enough money. I am also hoping another of my favorite drivers, Joey Magurah, finds a ride this year because he is also a very good driver! It would be nice if Forsberg, Wiesz, and Powerfeed also moved up to GSC.

Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

If the right amount of dollars came along, any of those three probably would move to GSC. But I think all three teams are 50-100 thousand short of being able to run that many races and tow that many miles in that short of a time frame. Most GSC teams run twice a week and most CW teams run once a week. Average cost per night to run a 410, $2500; 360, $1500 GSC, 27 races, 5 months-CW, 15 races, 6 1/2 months

Yeah I agree, to run the GSC series it takes lots of money and racing at least once a week from March until July. I went to most of the GSC races last year and it is amazing how grueling their schedule is especially driving down to Hanford and Tulare from the Sacramento area. The CW schedule is only 15 races and very spread out so there is time to run local races as well. I really enjoy watching and supporting drivers from both series. I hope there are more GSC and CW races at Placerville because it is only 25 minutes from my house Smile We are lucky here in CA to have the opportunity to watch both 410 and 360 sprint car races and not have to drive too far.
