Who gives a crap... Its only been a week, are you that desperate? Toyota, Khane, Stewart, Leffler, sounds like a hype show more than anything. Been there 3 times, flat out sucks.. Bring it back to Bakersfield or PAS or santa maria, charge 40 bucks a head ... If you build it , they will come!

Ya know...before last night, I probably would agree to a point. I've had some pretty dismal experiences with that race and that track in the past. But aside from Dave Darland totally dominating the "big show", this Turkey Night Grand Prix was definitely worth watching.

I still cannot believe that I forked out $65 for a non-member pit pass last night, but I was rewarded with the opportunity to share a brief conversation with Robin Miller about "real" racing, as well as catch up with a whole bunch of buddies from all over the country.

Anyone that was there last night would have to agree with the fact that the battle from 3rd through about 8th last night was something fierce! The amount of slide jobs (yeah, that's right...I said slide jobs!) that were traded within inches of each other between such shoes as Jason Leffler, Bryan Clauson, Josh Wise, and Kasey Kahne...will bring me back. It was simply amazing. 98 laps worth of good, clean, old-fashioned side-by-side racing.

I know I sound star struck (the list of names sounds like a Busch race), but I'm teling you, these guys drove their hearts out and had fun doing it too...no wonder these guys have been signed to do bigger things in the future. You should have seen the smiles on these guy's faces when they took their helmets off last night...it was realy something to witness those guys doing what they truly love to do without all pressure of it being a day job.

Too bad Wise and Swanson blew up and Leffler over-heated...it would have been really interested had they continued. The TSR tangle took out both Stenhouse and Jones in one shot. I'm still bent about the fact that this race was moved to pavement from dirt...those wounds will never heal. But last night put a band aid on 'em for a little while...

Yeah, the $65 dollar pit pass deal had a lot of people grumbling. The hard part to take was that NASCRAP members could get in for $45 bucks.

Yes, Darland more or less checked out, but the racing behind him was astonishing.

How about that Toyota powered sprinter winning 1st time out?

Probably about 10,000 fans in the stands. A lot of them because Kaseey Kahne was there. A lot of NASCAR jackets being worn.

Al Gore would have had a heart attack if he saw the drifting exhibition.

This year was the first time that i have been to turkey night and it will be the last i dont know what race you were watching it sucked and the midget race was a joke there were no slide jobs and from 3rd to 8th there was no good racing you were seeing laped cars in the way the only one worth watching was kahne and thats just cause he came from the back, turkey night needs to be back on the dirt thats where the real racing is at and the only reason they had that many fans was because of kahne not to watch him race just to get a autograph and a picture... TURKEY NIGHT IS A JOKE!!!!!!
