the show last night at action track in kutztown was one of the best nights of racing i've been to.  the 75 lap speedstr feature was decided at the finish line with billy pauch, jr. edging out mike bednar.  it had everything in it...cars having problems and having to fight back through the field, tempers flaring after a big crash, and of course a close finish.  the cars racing for 2nd in the closing laps went 3 wide for 3-4 laps straight.  the 40 lap 600 feature was entertaining as well.  they keep things moving along nicely.  3 divisions with 2 extended features and they were done by 10:30.

just wondering if anybody else was there.  credit floracing for getting me interested in their brand of weekly racing since we started watching a few weeks ago.

As a fan you generally get your monies worth on a weekly basis at Kutztown. With a town curfew, they speed the program along as well. This year the track was reconfigured with better catch fenching in anticipation of having 410's race there (personally I think the track is still to tight for the 410's, but perfect for the USAC midgets). Last night's Speedstr feature was a good one for sure, but it is the 600 Micro Sprints that put on the best racing each week. The sad thing is the season runs short as they have to stop racing by the end of August being in the middle of a college as the students return to class.
