Every race is a fundraiser.  No one has ever held a race to lose money.  They have them to make money.  Or raise funds if one prefers.  Hence fundraiser.  Change the name and call it what you want, but reality is that it is a fundraiser.

There is a big difference between a fundraiser and being a promoter of the race.    The fundraiser has to help promote the event and hopefully collect a check at the end of the event.   The promoter has to promote the event, he has to book the venue, he has to sign the contacts with the touring series, he has to arange for all of the services, AND if the night is not a success he is the one that has to go into his pocket to cover the losses.    The worst case for a fundraiser is that they spent time promoting an event that they will not get back.  The worst case for the promoter is going into his personal savings to pay for the event.   That is a big difference.

Its just before the big Kings Royal weekend, everybody's in the area, 48 cars showed up last nite

Might as well include it in "month of $$$" cause of timing, location & the fact that a lot of people like Brad & want to promote his race... no harm, no foul! Smile
