What a great feature last night at the Port!  The track changed like crazy from the beginning of the feature to the end.  That is sprint car racing at it's best.  Great job on the track prep!  The cars were actually getting a grip on the surface and the drivers put on a show for the fans.  Hope the track is that good the rest of the year!  That was Port at is finest!

I guess watering the track throughout the night did the job!  Great job guys!

No 14-15 second laps and 19-20 in feature yet it was a good race? Who woulda thought.

At the beginning of the night when there is a 3 division show.  That is when the track needs to be in the 15 second bracket.  I never said anything about 14 seconds.    Remember they watered the track a few time through out the night last night.   They have not done this in the past.

Track changed a lot during the feature.  The drivers could actually get a grip on the track unlike normal.

Not 19 to 20 second laps for the whole feature....maybe at the end of the night.   Get your stories straight.

A lot best times in the feature were in the low to mid 18 second bracket.  Some were even faster......

Macri had the fastest feature lap at around 17.5, Lucas wolfe had second fastest in the feature at 17.6 seconds.  That is what I mean when the track change a lot during the feature.

That was sprint car racing at it finest!  Changing track conditions.  That is what it is all about.  Keep the crews and drivers guessing what the track is going to do next!

Get your facts straight, they have watered the track during the show several times this season you just don't see that and many other things on video highlights. Now I will give you the track sucked for the Outlaw Latemodels and one other night it got follow the leader around the bottom half way through the feature. Most nights though the racing has been very good no matter the lap times at any time of the night. Nineteen second time trialsdon't impress me either but if the track has two more workable groves that is way more important than lap times. By the  way you like watching Larson and they had a good race last night you sure did allow your bitterness toward the place bite you in ass last night with your boycot that you spout off about all the time. WE all know you will twist anything to fit your agenda.

Port has been less than ideal every time they race.  There have been a one or two nights where the track was right.  Other than that it has been less than ideal.  I have no agenda other than wanting to see good racing without it being a slip and slide.

The track changed a lot during that feature last night.  Unlike any other night.  You can't change hard black and dry all night long.  Just slap tires on it and maybe make a very tiny adjustment and you are normally good to go for the night of racing at the port.   That is my only gripe about the place.......Get it...your facts are getting all twisted up.

17 second laps in the feature is a far cry from hard black and dry and at the end of the feature they were still getting a grip on the track....not as much as the beginning but still some grip was there.

No it didn't bit me at all.  I was glad Kyle won and I will get to see him race a lot live over the next 2 months.  I am still smiling on the 2 wins this week.  If they keep the track the way it was last night I may consider coming again.  But I have my doubts....Razor Steve doesn't know a good track when he sees it.

What a bunch of whiners. I wish all of our tracks could have a surface that provides as many different lines as the Port did last night. The track had been sealed up tight due to chance of rain. For what little prep done throughout the night was pretty damn good I think.

OH  There happened to be a very exciting race that took place also.

I couldn't agree more.  That was one of the best races I have seen in a while at Port!  That is what happens when you don't have it hard, black, and dry all night long!

I agree if it is like last night....if it is not like last night,  then Lincoln by far is the best track in Central PA!

Last night was typical Port, up against the rail, multi-groove, fantastic racing. It's the best 1/2 mile in the country. Sucks that Macri got caught up in a lapped car spinning. I would have liked to see if anyone could have caught him.

I saw a lot of "luck" posts on Facebook about how Larson lucked into the win because Macri got taken out.  Silly.  It was early in the race and who knows if he is going to pick up speed or lose it during the race.  One would assume it would have been a tall task for Kyle to catch him and pass him.  But, who knows how his car was going to react to the changes in the track and to lap traffic.  ??    Macri looked pretty strong early on but I would never say Kyle couldn't have caught him.

You are right. No one will ever know what would have happened.  I am sure however that even Kyle knows that Macri has been the most likely Posse member to finish in front of him for the past two seasons.

What ? The most likely. Come on, bill v, if anybody has the stats you do. Larson and Lance head to head. Who has the better finishes

I am not going to look it for anybody however if you were at races the past two seasons and remember anything think back to Speedweek last year, Tuscarora Fifty weekend and there are others even when neither of them won. Contrary to what some remember the 69k was not as domimant last year as the couple of years before . As I said I would bet even Kyle remembers Macri from last year.
