AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series
USAC/CRA SPRINT CAR SERIES ADDS HOOSIER RD20 TO TIRE RULE

JUNE 29, 2021... Due to the recent tire shortages, AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint Car Director Tony Jones has announced that the Hoosier RD20 Right Rear Tire is now legal for competition. While tire material and labor shortages are not keeping up with demand, the RD20 will join the HTW, Medium, Hard, and F85A as the series approved tires. Hoosier Tires are still required on all four corners.
This Saturday, July 3rd, the AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint Cars will make their first of two appearances at Santa Maria Raceway for the “Doug Fort Memorial.” The action packed card will also feature the California Lightning Sprints, IMCA Stock Cars, NMRA TQ Midgets, and Mini Stocks.
NOTICE TO RACERS:
Fuel and a limited amount of tires will available for sale from the track vendor at Santa Maria.
Pill Draw: 2:30pm, Driver’s Meeting: 3:30pm, Wheel Packing: 4:30pm.
Front Gates: 4:00pm, Qualifying: 5:30pm, Racing: 6pm.
Grandstand tickets are available on race day!
Santa Maria Raceway is located 1/4-mile north of the 101/166 interchange at 1900 Hutton Road in Nipomo, California. Adult tickets are $25, Senior, Military, and Student Tickets are $23, Kids Tickets (6-12) are $6, and Kids (5 & Under) are FREE.
