Too many races again in Pennsylvania. I think BAPS would have been way down on Thursday. Tonight Saturday could even be worse. Sounds like Macri is in Knoxville. Confirmation? About a half dozen from here running Lernerville and Sharon this weekend. You'll probably see Freddie and Logan win easily tonight.

Tim Shaffer & Chase Dietz are also racing at Knoxville tonight. Brent Marks is on the road with the Outlaws until Pa Speedweek. Ryan Smith, Bradley Howard and Landon Meyers were at Lernerville for the Western Pa Speedweek. Williams Grove offered $5500 to win for a regular show, plus a sponsor kicked in an extra $500. What other track in the United States is paying $6000 to win a weekly show this weekend.? Sometimes you have an off night car count wise.......

Shame for Williamsgrove but not sure they attempt to do good track prep. Saw Danny Dietrich post about the cushion. We are seat holders and we have not been regulars except big races when outlaw and Allstars as it seems more effort is put into the prep. Weekly racing is poor at best with little passing and single file. Why can port manage it and Williamsgrove cannot. Turn it over do something. Losing cars and fans is not a way to keep a historic track running. Then again is their goal to sell and blame on fans and lack of car counts? Very sad situation!

I was at the Grove last night and the track was ok. Who cares what DD posts, he is a whiner unless he is winning. I've been going to the grove a long time and it does seem to be the follow the leader half mile track much of the time. Low car count with winged cars = boring freight train. The good half of the night was the usac east coast cars, super feature. The winged cars are just so locked down that they are hard on engines, thats why the car counts started dropping 5+ years ago. Time to loosen the cars up somehow, I would start by removing the wings.

Of all the nights to complain about track conditions at Williams Grove, last night was not the one to complain about. With rain for several days, the track held a ton of moisture.....The USAC Wingless race was one of the best all year at ANY track.

A ton of moisture? The fastest times of the evening were a 17.3 in warm ups. The feature was consistent 19+ second laps. It was as single file except for LD coming from the rear as ever. It's a shame that track prep what little is done is wiped out with the water trucks flattening down what cushion was even forming on the track. Did it help widen it out? Very little because it was still single file.

With Macri, Shaffer and Dietz heading to Iowa today per this thread....
Anybody know if those 3 are going to Husets tomorrow?
Are they hanging out in the midwest a few weeks to hit the abundance of WoO shows?

Attica has only been getting 23-25 each week regularly and they might have been light on cars but looked like a good race with a last corner pass. They lost a few to Western PA speedweek, a few to All Stars in IL/WI and a few gearing up for Ohio Speedweek. I think what could be scary is Saturday night when you toss in Western PA Speedweek at Sharon, Fremont, OVSCA at Atomic and WCS running. Could be very light on cars at Fremont.

Well all 4 ran back a few weeks ago and all had decent to good counts. Sharon will certainly get the most again, they'll be 30+. I suspect the other 3 will be in the 15-20 range

The Grove I get because of the many factors outlined above, but Attica scared me a bit. Ohio in general seemed to be doing great the past few years and Attica in memory serves has never been as low as 14.

LD coming from the rear??? He starts in the first two rows 99% of the time. Had to come from further back last night, 17 total cars, and finished 6th! No more of that starting from the back stuff!

More times than not, Danny's opinons on track prep are predicated 100% on how he finishes. He had a decent run last night but let's face it, last years version of DD would've probably won that one going away. Nothing against Justin or Kyle but regardless of track conditions, they're rarely ever going to beat the 48 when he DD is going like he normally is. Especially considering that Danny made it to 3rd very early on and was unable to challenge them until the very end. It's been awhile since he's won anywhere and I'd bet almost anything that had he won last night, that tweet never would've happened. He's a hell of a driver but he can be a really sore loser sometimes. Lance Dewease had no problem at all passing cars so really was the track that bad?

17 at Williams Grove, 14 at Attica, what's going on?

Lincoln with 30 is the only track in central PA this weekend has or had a full field.
Let's go Sprint Car Racing!
Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

Only 18 at the WoO race although they are in the middle of nowhere. 19 at Port. At least Knoxville had a nice field.

Before our race was rained out tonight in Laurens, SC, we had 14 confirmed cars showing up and praying two more might show up so we could have a four-abreast.
The excitement toward the possibility was electrifying...
Its the first question asked at our drivers meeting...Do we have enough for a 4-wide?!?!
Last time we had the car count, it took us atleast six laps to figure out who goes where.

Ru referring to back up cars of Macedo and Kinser? Just to collect the $1000 for making the A main simply for registering the car to race?
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!
