Who would you recommend for building a 410 engine? Rider, Kistler, etc.?

Salina Engine in Salina,KS. Adam is an up and coming builder that's really putting out extremely stout, reliable pieces! Customer service is some of the best in the business as well. With some builders getting older and slowing down, he's definitely taking stride.

There all good. It depends on what region of the country your racing in. Guys in California don't run Ott motors just as guy in pa don't run Ron shavers stuff. Remember these motors need freshened, today, the good crew chiefs if time allows can do a refreshing at there shops if there ever there long enough.

To actually answer the question, you probably can't go wrong with any of the big names, but Wesmar comes up a lot in conversations I have with people who aren't broke but don't have super deep pockets.

Posse engine builders are dominant. Sweet and Kahne-Cappetta, Schuchart-Newman, Reutzel & Dewease-Rider, Dietrich-Ott, Indy 71 & Brown-Garrett, Zearfoss-HP.
They don't even know how to spell sprint car

Not to be too much of a wise guy but it makes sense since they actually race 410's in PA
Also, I thought KKR ran Speedway engines and most of Gravels wins come with a Kistler under the hood

At almost 87 years old, Davey has slowed down a bit. The team made a decision to go with a Rider two years ago when they went to the Knoxville Nationals. A sponsor owns the engine. Davey did tinker with a few of his engines he built over this off season, so they will run the Rider and his Brown built engines this upcoming season.

Ron Cappetta has built the engines for KKR for at least the last 5 years. Not sure, but I think KKR has an exclusive deal with Cappetta where he only builds engines for KKR, kind of like Jason Meyers had with Charlie Garrett back in the day.

They have one Brown engine left that Davey went over and the rest will be Rider's.
