I want to share my opinion on The One and Only this last weekend at Knoxville. I worried there would be no buzz about the races and the atmosphere would be about a 3 on a scale of 1-10. While it was not the Nationals, but I felt the buzz of the crowd all day, every day. Sure, it was only 1/3 strong, but everyone was in a good mood, smiling, drinking, and seemed excited that they were back in Knoxville in the middle of August. Everyone was into the racing just as they normally would be. And, while the crowd was 1/3 normal strength, it could still be loud when it was warranted.
I just want to take the time to say good job Knoxville and the World of Outlaws. They made a great decision not to just pack it in and leave the place empty until 2021. I was very, very happy I made the trip out once again.

That was very nice post of you.
I will chim in from the PPV side as a reg on dirtvision I wanted to say thank you for making this a fast pass delight.
We at home felt the buzz all 3 days and by LC race on saturady we were fired up to see the A main go down.
Larson is just flying around the dirt and it 's fun to watch with so many other great drivers who were going to pounce any chance given for that win.
Racing is in a good spot and very thankful for ALL the PPV be ofered out there.
thank you ...

It exceeded all expectations. In a perfect world the June Outlaw show would be a 3 day Capitani Classic with the same format and similar purse. Unfortunately i don't think there is a huge demand for another big sprint car event at Knoxville.
Hopefully the Jackson Nats can be this type of event going forward.

I thought it was a great event, even if it wasn't the Nationals. Only complaint would be the General admission ticket status. I'd gladly pay more to have Reserved seats and not have to battle. We had a group of 9 and at the best, we garnered 3 people sitting together for 2 nights. Knoxville is as much of a social event for us as a racing event, and I'm not taking about drinking. Looking forward to Husets on Labor Day!

I won't disagree, the general admission was a downer. However, with that short of notice, it was probably going to be near impossible to come up with a plan to sell 7000 reserved seats. Group sizes would have varied, etc. So, the did do the best they could under the gun. I will agree though, I did miss the reserved seating of the Nats
