Maybe the big shows are kaput but there's still plenty of Sprint car racing in the Golden State...just that most of it is without spectators. I guess one thing to take from this year's mess is that Cal isn't just a Friday/Saturday night thing now. Petaluma has been running some Sundays, Marysville on Tuesdays, Wednesday this week, some Friday/Saturday stuff, Antioch has the non wing Sprints this Saturday along with our Pro Stock Tour which was supposed to be at Yreka and got moved to Antioch (they're only about 350 miles apart) after Yreka had a rough weekend with the state big shots pretty much screwing up both nights of last weekends' shows. Just found out that change this afternoon and glad we didn't make motel reservations in Y yet. That's nearly 6 hours tow compared to 2 hours to Antioch and home in our own beds by a little after midnight.
There's several others but you almost have to have your stuff loaded and be ready to go anywhere in the state to get some laps on very short notice.
The Gov is starting to reclose some of the restaurants and bars and whatever else he can think of with the Covid infections going up again with the tippy toe reopenings. It's a weird deal so we all just have to make the best of a bad situation.

Merced canceled USAC as well on the 4th.
Can't see USAC travelling all this way to only run petaluma on a monday , so expect that to be cancelled too....
Great that drivers are getting to race. My problem is that I did my racing for 5-6 years.
Now i'm a fan again and want to go to tracks see friends, camp ect...
Thats what I just don't see happening in Califonia this season to be clear.

I assume the WoO will cancel the west coast swing this year. Question is can they schedule races in states where fans are allowed or will they go quiet for those 2 weekends.
