Before we give all the trophies to Kyle and send everyone home, you might want to look at the win total of good old Donnie... cause I don't think you will ever see anyone hit 300 again in your lifetime.... Thats kind of mind blowing when you think of it...... will Kyle keep him from doing it by winning everything ????

Donald is great but not quite as versatile.

He is probably just as qualified. You would think if people want a change they would have a worthy opponent.Larson will go down in history as one of the most versatile drivers on dirt and will be remembered for one slang word that cost him millions.

Well if you want to compare Larson to someone the only one I can think of would be Billy Pauch Sr. He is the most versatile and best Short Track Driver, especially in in his prime

Is the 300 you are talking about for WoO wins? If so what about Sammy Swindells 394 wins or Steve Kinsers 690 wins (which I believe is low because they never counted prliminary night wins for a long time).

So, you're saying Donnie Shatz will never be able to catch up with Sammy, nor be half the racer that Steve was?
( sorry man, the devil made me do it )

Sammy, yes a good chance, Steve I don't see it but never say never. Sammys numbers would be a LOT higher if he had focused solely on the WoO stuff. His experimenting with different things through the years likely cost him a few wins. (aka: his coil over project).
I know there are some old timers out there but I think a lot forget the frustration Kinser was back in his hey day. I mean the guy was an Animal in a Sprint Car.
As far as his versitility not so much at all, Sammy is a lot better with versitility, Donny not so much!
Kyle Larson has HUGE talent and HUGE vesitility. I guess time will tell as he is still fairly young...
I sure miss the old guys though but am glad to see some good new guys coming into their milk....
I was really hoping to see Buddy Kofoid get hooked up with a good Winged sprint car in a travelling division. Maybe still. Fingers crossed.

Not only one of the most versatile drivers on dirt.....................one of the most versatile drivers on any surface. I think this makes it even more impressive.
