Unforunately all of the above were way before my time and I am 61...so guess I am not an "old geezer" enough, but I would love to hear some stories of these great drivers from the past.

I didnt get to my first race until the summer of 1960 at nine years old but Buzz Barton came up here and raced out of Minnesota at least one if not more seasons. I saw him race quite a few times and he was one of my favorites when me he was up here. I was old enough to have attended races in the late 50's but it didn't work out that way although the 60's was a great decade for racing so I feel fortunate to have those memories.
I'm only a couple years shy of 70 so when you're looking for people who remember 1950's racing you're talking to a small group and there aren't likely to be very many that go that far back.
