Lance,

I am confused,... The thread title is "Glen Howard dash" but the one and only post talks about the Kindoll classic trophy dash????

Since the Snap-On tool sponosrship was not renewed a few years back there have basicly been no trophy dash races, Don Weaver put together a few dollars a few years ago and with the blessing of Wilda Kindoll held a trophy dash in honor of Rusty Espinosa, again last year at the Kindoll Classic another dash was put together and I can't remember at the moment who that was named after but I think it was Bill Pratt. As in the past, Wilda has asked the PAS if we would mind having a race in honor of Jack, since we also lost Glenn Howard so recently I have collected a few dollars to honor two sprint car icons that deserve to be remembered in a big way. With the two having so much in common, both being former car owners, and racing officials that were part of the building blocks to what we have today the Kindoll Classic was the perfect race to honor them together.

Please add the Zanzabuku Sports Lounge in Lakewood as a $100 contributor to this special race. Let us also know where to send check.

There are a number of ways to get a check or cash towards the dash, probably the easiest is to send it directly to the PAS and they will get it too me (please if you send or bring cash make sure it is with something that has your name attached to it) Or just simply bring it to the track the night of the race. with the most recent support from Kevin and Zanzabuku Sports Lounge, that brings the purse up to $1,633.00...this should be one heck of a 3 lap race with 50% of it going to the winner. Also there is another $250.00 from Wilda that goes to Fast Time. A big THANK YOU to everyone that has helped make this work, it is going to be special night, also wait until you see what US Photo has put together for the cover of the program, that in itself is a masterpiece. I also have been told Owen Richards is trying to send me an old Ascot picture of interest along with another photographer that has 2 very cool pictures on the way to the program printer. I suspect the program will be an early sell out.
