In September?
Gregg Satterlee, Mason Zeigler, Rick Eckert, Michael Norris, Jeff Rine, Alex Ferree or any other SLM drivers that might show up at Knoxville LM Nationals???

First off the late models are not part of the Posse. The Posse members drive sprint cars not panel wagons.

As soon as I saw SLM I knew the S was L ooming and not M aybe.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Correct. They piggyback the sprint cars with everything else they do around here. The least they can do is come up with their own moniker. The Posse thing belongs to the sprints.

Would there be anything else we can help you with this evening?

Poor guy just wanted to know who from PA is going to race LM Nationals at Knoxville. No one wants to just answer the question rather than bitch at him for technicalities and breaking your rules?
All I see so far is Satterlee so far. Should grow quick and you will know soon. LM Nationals is a great event. I have attended twice but has been about 10 years. I prefer to spend my money on 410's but if Knoxville were just a tad closer, I would attend the LM's every year like I do the 410's.

Late model chatter on this board. That is interesting. I do enjoy some good late model racing myself. If you cant enjoy some good late models, your just a sprint car fan and there is nothing wrong with that but I do think you are missing out on some great racing. I wish Lucas Oil had more shows on PA tracks than just Port Royal. I went to the World 100 last yr and the Dream this yr. Both excellent events. Great racing and great atmosphere and we had some local cars travel out for those. As far as the Posse moniker, I say what the heck share it. We have good racing here in both divisions and we should proudly support our local guys especially when they race against the traveling series.

Agree. My attendance of sprint car shows to late model shows is 25:1 if I were guessing. However, if a good one comes along, and I can attend, there is nothing wrong with it. Also nothing wrong with a sprint car fan asking about a late model race. If late model races make you upset, you should get away from late model conversations by ignoring them. JMO

I have been a fan of sprint cars for over 40 years....but I must say I've taken a liking to the Dirt Late Models. Happened about 4 or 5 years ago and I am now a somewhat knowledgeable fan. I now circle the dates when the LOLMS and WOOLMS come to Hagerstown, Port Royal, Williams Grove and Selinsgrove and try to attend....different type of racing, but the sprints and late models do share some of the same fanbase at least in the Mid Atlantic region.

Its fine to talk about Late Models, just don't call them Posse... no big deal
Kinda like calling the Mets the Yankees....

Agreed. I think the super lates put on a great show at just about any track. I'm sure they woiuld be fantastic at Knoxville. It's a tough, hardcore sprint crowd on this board though. LOL Sprints are my favorite(410 and 360) but I'm a dirt track racing fan in general who also enjoys the late models.
