Very poor car count with only 18 sprints including about four locals..The fillers were digusting,Six cars on a 1/2 mile is NOT racing and is wasting time when rain was threatning..$20,000 to win..Nice money but not for 18 cars..Hope Billings is much better for car count tomorrow..Good job Dirt Vision as usual..

Who was it that upped the winners share? Nos?? At least they tried something to entice more participants but it should have went to the field. It's pretty much a guarantee a WoO regular is gonna win so extra for 1st doesnt bring more cars. Eagle has it figured out....

Hey Rod, where abouts are you in Canada..I'am from Winnipeg and River Cities is about 2 hours south, if the border isn't packed going to the US..We have our own Speedway which I worked when it opened in 1973 and sold in the 80s..Haven't been since Pete Vernaus sold it..

Half way between you and Edmonton.
Are you talking about the track south of Winnipeg about 10 to 15 miles. I think it was branded by the Co-op last time I was there.

Where are the 410's going to come from, lol? There aren't any in the area, this is hardly sprint car country...
Sadie has it right, the final night of SMACKDOWN from Kokomo is on. You will likely see more passing in the first race than all night on Dirtvision. Heck, the All-Stars from Lincoln should be a great show also, then the final night of NARC's mini speedweek is on from CA. Many options tonight...

Biggest things for this weekend for the two tracks the outlaws go to are how big was the crowd, was it bigger than usual, and did the track make money? Sure the the car counts will be low but I think that isn't a surprise to most fans. Most people who follow the sport know it's not 410 country where they are.
However it could turn out to be a success in certain aspects of fans turning out & the track makes money. Could create interest for people in that area & prove that there is an interest for 410 racing in that area, which in turn could develop another territory. Of course the opposite could happen too. Only time will tell if they continue to book the Outlaws.

Big Sly must be making money as tonight is the WoOs 8th visit to the track.
Also just asking for a simple clarification...
On the initial start of the A a driver stalled on the track but didnt seem to get 2 minutes to fix anything. Do they only get 2 minutes if it is an accident and maybe no time if it is just your own mechanical problem?

May have been a situation where the driver told the official that either the damage/malfunctioning was too much to fix in 2mins. This happens from time to time where the driver and team makes the decision to just go to the trailer instead of the work area

You Americans have such a vast and diverse country. Watching the DV highlights from Big Sky it is in the middle of a grass land, much like a track would be around me yet the highlights from PA tracks show roof tops all down the back stretch. Big Sky has room to grow and nice to know they probably wont have a noise problem with the neighbors for, well ever.
One of the added bonuses of travelling with the WoO would be seeing so much of your country and from time to time having that lay over for day trips if the family was with you.

I think Johnny mentioned that it was said there was a fuel leak and it wouldn't restart so he went to the pits..
