Love reading some of the stupid shit people dream up. Was dominating friday night at all star races gets notification car spinning on backstretch, slows, Gio never lifts and smokes 87 ending his night. Another All star race, dominating and motor expires, not drivers fault. He wins those two like was on his way to, and the win total goes up, 2 less DNF's and the points race is non existant. Aaron has the potential to continue running up front night in and night out no matter what series he runs with. He needs to stick in good equipment and keep learning. He will be a threat on the World of Outlaw tour one day.

Hey hotshot, Mr. Know Nothing, your last line is a beauty.
"The All-Stars are at a high point in power, as far as I'm concerned. There are a handful of those drivers who can get it done anywhere"
He has dominated the All-Stars and has a couple of unlucky things happen and yet you don't think he's as good as the others than can get it done anywhere, you're off your rocker or meds again. I guess it was a fluke he was a high pointer one night at Knoxville, started on the pole and finished 5th in the biggest race of the year with a whole lot less experience...
I don't pay much attention to Rodney, he's a bit too keen for me, but he's perfect for a bully like you, notice I didn't see @$$hole like you, not my style, lol.....

Poor Rod in Canada. Raises a completely legitimate point and has one of the 14 or so frequent posters left on this board constantly shitting on him.
The facts are this: Reutzel is the class of the All Star field, and yet he’s trailing in points. Why? 23rd, 19th and 24th place finishes in 3 of 25some all star races is why.

Also Attica Speedweek show where he was leading and Balog spun right in front of him with nowhere to go and DNF’s. At worst he finished 2nd to Larson that night but good shot he holds on and wins. He’s really just had some bad luck and Dale yo his credit has stayed steady.

Jesus man, can you ever reply to a thread without being a piece of sh*t? Looking back, it appears only about 3 out of your last 10 comments on any thread in this board actually have something to do with the topic of discussion, the rest are calling Rod and others a dumbass, telling them to "Go play in traffic" etc.
Since you're also so keen on spelling drivers names right as it seems, its Reutzel, not Ruetzel.

Just for giggles let's look at the math. I got my info from the Sprint Car Ratings website. That site shows all races ran and it's what I used. I wasn't taking the time to pick apart what was Allstar, Outlaw etc. so this is overall stats as of today. I picked these three to show stats for the top drivers in each series from the last two years.
Driver # Races Top 10 15th or higher
Schatz 2019 51 46 = 90.19% 2 = 3.92%
Schatz 2018 74 69 = 93.24 0
Sweet 2019 53 46 = 83.79% 2 = %3.77%
Sweet 2018 76 63 = 82.89% 4= 5.26%
Reutzel 2019 52 32 = 61.53% 12 = 23.07%
Reutzel 2018 73 40 = 54.19% 28 = 38.35%
Schatz's 2018 stats are mind blowing. These stats tell me no one should be picking on Rod in Canada. Ruetzel gets some wins but finishes 15th or worse way too often. You can expect some bad luck every now or then but these numbers are way too high for chalking it all up to bad luck. Could Reutzel go on the Outlaw tour on win a few? I think so but until these stats get better, he isn't anywhere close in points. He starts increasing his top 10 percentage and decreasing those bad finishes, look out.

Thanks for those stats. I thot that was basically the story I was seeing but I didn't write it out.
It's kind of disturbing that Ford97 thinks of me so much. Ugh. But Canada is a big place to hide.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Gee
Who is bashing him? I just asked what the main cause of his inconsistency was. The original.post is pretty clear imo that I acknowledged his ability and wasnt trashing him.

Backpedaling is your specialty, people have you figured out keyboard commando. For someone who lives in the Knoxville area and knows me, I set up for about 150 shows there over the years and you never acknowledged me, are you that big of a coward/pussy? Face to face would have finished this very quickly, one way or another, all those chances and nothing, bock bock bock. Hell at about 70 and 3/4 dead you wouldn't scare me and I would have loved the chance.....

Don't worry, he probably knows everything about you by using his trusty google search, because he knows how to use that service so much better than everyone else.

Dude in your original post you literally asked if his "issues" were related to equipment, inexperience or impatience.
No matter how you try to spin that, there is a negative connotation to that specific comment. Its very difficult to take that out of context. You basically accused him of being a podium finisher if and only if he started up front "with very few exceptions". Your words not mine.
So quit trying to claim innocence here. You made the weather so don't cry about the rain.

Can you even read? I stated he has no problem passing and the only time I used the word issue was about equipment. There is a fair bit of praise in the OP but it may be hard to see for some.
Why would I not like Reutzel, or is it Ruetzal now?
I actually like him , go ahead trolls, I picked that word just for you. He wins lots, goes fast and isnt from the typical 410 hot bed. What's not to like?

I've noticed a bit of a trend with Reutzel. He seems to usually qualify very well and then if he doesn't win he finishes very deep in the field with occasional exception. Very few podiums unless he is in the middle.Seems that guys like Schatz, Sweet and Gravel are much more constant at top 5s if not winning. Now I know my list is of elite drivers but what is reutzel missing? Does he drive too close to the edge that a slight mistake by anyone ends his night? He seems to be able to pass at will as I compare his starting spots to finishing spots on the good nights.
Is it an equipment issue or inexperience or impatience and if he were on the WoO tour instead of the Ascoc where do you think he would be in the standings?
|
Ermmmmm here is your original post. Yes I am going to troll you about it . If you actually like him and aren't bashing him then the post above is full of a myriad of grammatical and contextual errors that you need to address. Otherwise you are just the standard issue keyboard jockey I think you are.
"He seems to be able to pass at will" IS NOT YOUR FULL QUOTE. You don't get to say that is a compliment when you finish it off with "on the good nights". Perhaps you'll do better with a golf analogy? Ever heard the quote, "the scorecard doesn't tell the story?" Same applies here, both good and bad. If you need me to expand on that I'll be more than happy to do so but I think a few others have certainly shed light on some of the misfortune that has come his way (The Scelzi example from last Friday night).
And by the way, how does "a slight mistake by anyone ends his night" become his responsibility? I'm sure every driver would love to be able to control the boneheaded moves by others that ultimately affect them but until racing becomes a utopia where everyone just stays in their lane, that's a tall order to fulfill.

I can't decide if I should ask what kind of drugs you use that you shouldn't or what kind of drugs are you supposed to use but don't.

Who thinks that there is winning and losing when posting anonymously on a message board? I guess the same guy who throws out the passive aggressive "peace and blessings" after trying to pick an iFight.
Further evicdence that the written word will be read with the worst possible tone and intention. I can't read the original post and try to create any sort of argument. Further, I don't think the original poster is purposefully or even unintentionally try to trash Reutzel at all. Just making a casual observation of which he might be right or possibly misinformed. It's conversation, not a war.

Consistency is the key to winning championships.DNFs dont pay any bills or help point average.Proved He can run and win with the best.Still the best race of year at Knoxville was AllStar race Gio won and no true Outlaws.Tough to be on road in any series and passing cars ,some luck, qualifing good strong consistent, engine program, able to make best out of average night are what Schatz,Sweet, and Gravel are doing well at.Ruetzel is fun to watch as he seems to always be on the gas.

I'm partial to any driver who runs a #87 as that was the number my cousin used to have on his cars when he was a car owner in the 60's and 70's. Ruetzel appears to be gaining experience and the team appears to be close to taking it up a notch if the Outlaws are their goal.
Nothing to argue or call each other names about. We are watching a driver and race team gell and learn how to be consistent. I started watching him with ASCS the past couple years while I had LORTV and it was cool to watch him this season with the All Stars. If he ends up running with the Outlaws and comes up here I would dust off the camera and get in on that action.
