Congrats to D.S. He was head and shoulders above the field. Never was a D.S. fan but changed my mind this year. Rough and heavy, hard and gut slick, big track or short he is so smooth it almost makes him un-exciting to watch. We only see him in person around Iowa. The exhibition and a$$ whippin he was about to put on the field from the back at Osky was nothing short of AMAZING. 25th to 7th in around 8 laps, above the cushion bouncing like he was riding a rodeo bull at a frightening speed was the craziest drive my friends and me can ever remember seeing. Made fans out our entire group (we used refer to him as Donita Schatz) Never again ..... Hail Cesar !!! a new dynasty seems to been born this year ... no split field, all the greatest sprint car drivers in one place night after night and he was clearly the class of them all.

well Kinser, Lasoski and Dollansky had off years. in a normal year Shatz would have finished 5th in points.

Yeah, Kinser and Lasoski had "off" seasons, but it really didn't mean dick. Dollansky? When has the Clown Squeezer ever been a factor in a championship?

Never been a fan of his, and still really not. But he opened a can this year!! Got to give the whole crew credit for that.

Normal can be considered two years. It is normal for DS to win many races and the title. Get used to the new normal.

And who is going to stop him?
You have the wrong attitude. Just like the dumbasses that said he couldn't win it this year when everyone got back together. He drove past the field and is the best in the business. Get used to it. He will dominate for years.

Nobody drives a better race than donny right now. He has finally matured into what I thought he could be- a consistent runner up front every night!! He has shown signs multiple times before even 5 or 6 years ago that he has what it takes to win alot. Not sure what took so long but now that he has it all figured out, he will be this for quite awhile. As Opperman once said-I think it was Oppy anyway, "it took me 5 years to go fast and another 5 to figure out why." The only question I have is are they going to put alot fancy sh## into the new cars under TSR or leave them as they are now. Donny's stuff is really basic and I think that gives him an edge over people that are trying new things in the sprinter. Less crap to worry about and focus on the track itself! Donny is this good!!! Kinser- too old, can't run consistently up front enough. Reminds me of someone a few years ago that has now taken over Kinser's reign. Lasoski- I think is following the same path as Kinser, only at a younger age.

Are you going to keep up the complaints about how much other teams spend when your brothers car owner is the biggest spender in the business?

I know that Donny spends a lot. Kinser spent more than anyone for decades and it got him 20 titles. That is part of what it takes to win, as well as great skill, attitude, and desire. Donny has it all and many more titles will follow.
