Now that it appears Husets won't be opening what is Chuck's next step with the site?

Continue what he's doing with the same results?
To somebody's credit, they are keeping the property up.
If mother nature ever gets off her nasty kick I-90 Speedway at Hartford, about 25 miles west will be reopening. That should provide a spark to get racing back on peoples' radar in the immediate Sioux Falls area.

Maybe Hartford should use Sunday nights as raindates if their saturday shows keep getting postponed.

It honestly wouldn't matter at this point. Everything is so wet around the area. We just need it to not rain 2 inches every three days like it has been doing for the last 4-5 weeks.

Rob ristenrud from the track has stated the track is fine at I90, it's the waterlogged pits and parking lot that is the issue, so one could have rain dates left right and center and no difference would it make.

Rod Pattison, I-90 Speedway's general manager, has made these statements. And they're true. I've been out there.
Rob Ristesund is a former racer and freelance writer of racing columns and reports.
Rod and Rob are both great guys!
