RACING INTO MAY WITH THE BRANDEIS MSCS SPRINTS

Haubstadt, IN - May 3, 2019 -  It is May!  In Indiana that has become
a month that race fans have great expectations of watching motor
sports.  Officials of the Brandeis Midwest Sprint Car Series have been
patiently waiting for this season to start.  April’s solo MSCS
outing was spoiled by wet weather, as was a lot of planned activity at
the various tracks racing sprint cars in Indiana.  Race teams across
the Midwest will be anxious to start or resume the 2019 season.

The Brandeis MSCS Sprints will provide five opportunities to race this
month beginning on Saturday May 18th.  Then the Brandeis MSCS Sprints
will open the season with an appearance at Tri-State Speedway for the
MIDWEST MADNESS event.  The MOWA Wing Sprints will also be on that
racing card along with the UMP Modifieds.

The next weekend is Memorial Day Weekend.  The Brandeis MSCS Sprints
will be in action three nights in a row.  The JOSH BURTON MEMORIAL
RACE will be held on Friday May the 24th at the Bloomington Speedway.
Saturday May 25th, MSCS will be appearing at the Lincoln Park Speedway
in Putnamville, IN.  The MEMORIAL WEEKEND CLASSIC will follow on
Sunday the 26th with the series returning to Tri-State Speedway.  A
Friday night appearance at Paragon Speedway on May 31st will wrap up
the action for the series in the month of May.

The 2019 Brandeis MSCS race schedule still offers 20 big events.  The
April 13th rained-out race at Tri-State Speedway was rescheduled and
will now be held on June 30th.  This rescheduled race is
co-sanctioned with USAC.  It follows an MSCS appearance at Brownstown
Speedway the night before.

The first MSCS race in which the feature pays $5,000 to win is set
for June 8th.  That will be the SUMMER SHOWDOWN at Tri-State
Speedway.  Fans will have a lot of action to take in during the
forthcoming weeks.  The first four races on the schedule will all pay
$2,500 to win.
