Overall very similar times turned in both sessions tonight at Charlotte (yeah I know it's LMS but it will always be Charlotte to me).... I was surprised that the times were pretty much the same over the two sessions.
A few interesting notes - Schatz and Wolfe swapping quick times with Schatz the fastest of the night in the first session and the only one to tally two sub 12.5 second laps. Joey Saldana and Shane Stewart swapping the 8 &9 spots. McCarl just missed the invert twice. Lasoski missed the first and improved to just make the second. Rahmer was junk in the second session after qualifying well for Friday. Haud didn't fare well in either session. Dean Jacobs made the invert for Saturday after doing not so well for tomorrow.
Should be a couple of good shows - I'm pickin the 15 for both nights - but keepin an eye on the 21

Nice Posse presence in the B-Main with Esh, Dewease, Rahmer and Hodnett. Who said they only have a chance and are competitive at ONE track in the country, a dozen years ago, lol! Blind squirrels do find acorns so there might be a surprise every once in a while, but reality tells us a different story, ho hum. Take It Easy.....

Hodnett Completes Sweep of Outlaws Showdown By Richard Day CONCORD, NC (May 25, 2002) - Greg Hodnett became the first non-regular to sweep a Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series double-feature event in 5 ½ years Saturday when he won the XM Satellite Radio Outlaws Showdown at The Dirt Track at Lowe's Motor Speedway. Hodnett, the series' Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year award winner in 1993, passed Jac Haudenschild in dense lapped traffic with 4 2/3 laps remaining to complete the first double-feature sweep of his career. Hodnett is the 11th driver to win a Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series main event this season.
"We'll definitely take this one," Hodnett said in victory lane. "The Apple Dealership team worked really hard all weekend long. Traffic was the key tonight. We ran the top early and the bottom came in, and those guys (Steve Kinser and Jac Haudenschild) were able to get by me. Then Steve got bottled up behind a lapped car and I got by him, and the same thing happened to Haud. I just tried to stay in line the last couple of laps and not make any mistakes. We're pretty happy because we don't get to run with these guys that often. We race locally in Pennsylvania, so we're definitely happy to be able to come down here and win."

Yep, I remember that weekend, Greg a TN resident with an Outlaw history pretending to be Posse to sell a few T's. I watched him sweep in Mississippi once also, without having to pass a car all weekend. Now about the real Posse drivers, YAWN, nowhere AGAIN, some things never change, deal with it and pray for tomorrow, lol. TIVO, not really gonna spend that kinda time on a Saturday night, sheesh. Take It Easy....
