Norm passed away on March 27. Norm was a former racer at Knoxville. After his driving career ended, he became an assistant flagman with Doug Clark, the 360 flagman and a tech inspector. Norm was elected into the Knoxville Hall of Fame in 1997 and was on the HOF commitee. Norm also was a volunteer for the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame. His wife Karen, is also a member of the Knoxville HOF. You would not meet a nicer man than Norm Wadle, may he rest in peace.

Well said jah42. Norm and Karan are great people. Very giving of their time and monetary support to racing in general and Knoxville Raceway & The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum in particular. So sad he's passed on, he'll be missed. Sincere condolences to Karan. R.I.P. Norman.
Badger boy.
