I watched the Silver Crown race on saturday. There was a one car mishap that took wrecker assistance. The caution laps counted in the race. It seemed the wrecker experienced some type of malfunction and laps were wasting away until the red was throw. i know things happen and I'm not making this a bash type post. However, i wonder why there wasn't another wrecker available?  Anyhow, i just wanted to give a shout out to what i consider the best crew i have seen. i watched some of the PPV's from California and there is a gentleman named COWBOY  and he and his crew are second to none in my opinion. He himself is on the seen immediately and the cars gone in a flash. Just wanted to take a moment for the positive recognition. THANKS COWBOY AND THE HOOKER!!

I'm a member of the tow crew at Eagle Raceway.  We're an all volunteer bunch that uses the trucks from The Auto Connection, a repair and restoration shop in Lincoln, NE.    We always have 2 trucks on hand at all our shows, and for the RaceSaver Nationals we borrow a third just in case.  Our primary truck (22, or Big Red) is pretty much a monster truck (as in Frankenstein's...).  It'll do things and get places no other truck will.  We expect it to, and we push it.  It breaks now and again.  One weak spot gets fixed, and we find another......it's the nature of the game.....I don't know why there wouldn't be at least 2 trucks at any show, but I've seen tracks that do it.  Stuff's going to happen.  Be prepared for it.  The show shouldn't suffer because of it.  Check us (and our trucks) out on FB....The Tow Crew by Auto Connection.  I'd like to see Cowboy in action sometime.  We might be able to learn a thing or two from him, and might be able to show him a couple things too  wink

You Eagle guys are amazing. Having seen you guys in action the last 2 years at the Nationals, you guys really get the job done! I just wish we wouldn't have needed your services on practice night last year frown

Thanks for the kind words.  To be honest, we really wish we could just stand around and watch the races from some of the best seats in the house.  Unfortunately we don't usually get to just watch.  We have 5 rules on the tow crew.  1) Be safe.  2) Be safe. 3) Be safe. 4) Don't tear the car up any more than it already is. and 5) Be fast.  We really try to just help keep the show rolling.  hookit

Just remember...any night you don't have to "hookit"
has been a Good Night!
