I have been shooting HD (High Definition) video at Ventura Raceway for most of this year. But I didn't have an option to share video clips on the web in anything other then SD (Standard Definition). I have found a website that will distribute HD video clips just like youtube distributes SD Video clips. This is the first one I have posted.
It is just a test clip to get my feet wet and start the learning process. I would appreciate your feedback on how the video looked and played for you.
Thanks,

info copied from the vimeo.com website (where this video is posted) think if them as the HD version of youtube.
#Do I need any special software to watch HD?
Nope, all you need is the current version of the Adobe Flash plugin, which you probably already have.
#Do I need a fast computer?
We’ve found that most computers made in the last two or three years
(running either Mac OS X or Windows) are fast enough to play
butter-smooth HD. In some cases, you may realize a major performance
gain by quitting unused programs and closing extra browser windows. Our
player is designed to degrade the video quality gracefully if it
detects that it’s dropping frames.
#Do I need a fast internet connection?
Most residential cable and DSL connections should be more than
adequate. If HD feels slow to load, trying turning off any background
downloads or peer-to-peer sharing applications.
#Is my monitor capable of showing HD?
All modern computer monitors are similar in resolution to HD, if
not better. Your computer is a sleeping HD beast, Vimeo will rouse it
from its slumber.

Looks & sounds great. Too close to pick out all the car numbers but gives you a real in your face action.

Thanks for the feedback guys.
I have been running around Ventura Raceway telling people how cool the racing looks in HD. But I had no way of sharing it with everyone. So I was pretty excited to find vimeo.com the first HD video sharing site. I will post a couple of video montages in HD sometime in the next week or so. Also I will be at Oval Nationals on Saturday. With any luck I will be able to post a short montage clip from there also. Now if I could just do the in-car cameras in HD. lol
