Jackson, MN. (Sept. 30, 2018)
We would like to say THANK YOU to all the 360 sprint car teams that competed with us at Jackson Motorplex during the 2018 season. We had an average of (34.7) cars competing on (9) different nights at the newly configured 4/10 mile dirt oval with a high car count of (46) on July 20th.
As I often say at our driver’s meetings, we know you don’t have to come race with us, but rather you chose to come race with us and for that we really appreciate your support and we will never take that for granted.
With that said, Jackson Motorplex, along with the continued support of the Midwest Power Series and Greg Parent, is stepping up our 360 sprint car program for 2019. As was the case this past year, all 360 sprint races in 2019 will also be MSTS points races.
We would like to announce that we have scheduled (7) stand alone 360 events that will all pay a minimum of $3,000 to win and $400 to start. Then we’ll add in our (3) day Jackson 360 Nationals over the Labor Day weekend that will pay $3,000 to win each preliminary night and $10,000 to win the Championship Feature.
We are putting the final touches on our full 2019 race schedule which will also include the (3) day Jackson 410 Nationals in June and another appearance of Tony Stewart’s ASCoC in July and we hope to have that available soon.
2019 Jackson Motorplex 360 Purse
$3,000-2000-1500-1000-800-700-600-500-475-450-440-430-420-410 and $400 thru 22nd.
Plus Heat winners $100 – Dash $200 - Hard Charger $100
We also want to thank all the race fans that showed us their support this past season. Stay tuned as the excitement continues to grow at Jackson Motorplex…cz

No comment on the ASCS, that's just silly. I really wish they would offer PPV, taking that away this year was a big time bummer.

To be fair, it's October. Does any track have a signed contract from any sanctioning body for next year's races yet?

Nice to see the 360s getting a good purse. The 360 rules seem to hold the cost down compared to the WOO type 410s. Todd is one of the few that could make Hussets work . Jackson has a lot of history but the improvements are second to none. If it wasnt for Knoxville the 410s dont have as many options as 360s one reason are costs of top motors that it takes to be competitive especially at 1/2 mile tracks.

You can't hurt my feelings so you can give that up, too. My question is why would you ask such a dumb ass question about whether or not there is a contract in place with Stewart and the ASCOC? Things at Jackson are't run there like your buddy at Badlands ran things, if that's what your're worried about.

Take it down a notch Old yeller. No ones hurting anyone’s feelings. You and Jim get so defensive in your old age When anyone says anything or questions anything with Jackson. And then you throw salt in the Husets fans wounds, as if that’s going to solve anything. One day you’re all lovey dovey claiming you hope Husets re opens. When you clearly could give 2 ####’s about the place, as long as Jackson is well. And that’s fine, I totally understand; That’s your track and I love your passion for the place. The question wasn’t even directed at you, unless you’re apart of the scheduling committee now too. I’m simply wondering if there is a contract in place with the ASCOC for next years return to Jackson. There was an agreement to run ASCS sanction with the fall nationals this year, and then all the sudden, Poof, they’re out. What happened?

If you really paid attention like you pretend you do, you would know what happened with the ASCS date. As for the name calling, that's your immaturity showing through. I'm not defensive at all, I'm just calling you out for stirring crap like you usually do. And I'd bet bottom line I'm more disappointed in what went down at Husets than you are. And more disappointed than you are at the bleak outlook for Husets ever reopening. I spent more time at Husets in the 1990's and early 2000's than I did Jackson. So again, you're way off with your assumptions. No need to sling arrows at those of us who saw the writing on the wall regarding Brennen from the beginning. Just because you and several others were taken in is no reason to lay shit at other's feet. Don't play more stupid or more innocent than you really are! Your question wasn't directed at anybody. It was a BS question! If you had read z'man's post that started this thread you would have seen that an All Star show is again in the works for a return engagement in July. But again, you do need to pay attention. So do yourself a favor and research what went down with the ASCS deal regarding the Nationals and you'll be in the know, too.

Blah blah blah. You call people names on here all the time. . Why don’t you just tell me what happened with the ASCS date? its not a BS question. Tell me ”what went down with the ASCS deal regarding the nationals.” Since you’re “in the know.” And you want me to ”be in the know.” Tell us and we will all “be in the know.”

I said research it yourself! I don't recall calling names so much....but I have told some people what I think their brains are made of.... All you have to do is look up old news about it on the internet. It's there if you look in the right areas. I'd rather have you wondering why the ASCS deal didn't happen than give you the facts as they were reported at the time.

When I go to the races I want to see a good car count in the top class and good racing. Jackson always delivers on those fronts.
The $10,000 to win 410 show had 45 cars, full grandstands and an awesome atmosphere. Who gives a flying flip if there is a contract with the ASCS, ASCOC, WWE, FBI or God knows who else. If its a good show which Jackson always provides, I am happy with it.
With the now totally screwed status of Badlands since Brennan has seemingly lost his mind I am REALLY thankful to Tod Quiring and Jackson Motorplex for providing good 410, 360 and late model shows close to the Sioux Falls area.

I don’t disagree. I am thankful for Jackson as well. But to respond to your comments Regarding these fall nationals, there were 33 cars. The winner came from the front row all 3 nights (which happens). And there were like 3 invaders mccarl baughman and Dover. Obviously you don’t know why the ASCS sanction got dropped either. On another post people were wondering as well. Somehow Blazer seems to know and claims theres an explanation somewhere on the internet. I cant find an official statement on why they were dropped. Am I the only one whos supposedly not in the know? I’m still waiting for Blazer to enlighten all of us.

I don't know the exact reason why ASCS was dropped, but I will say that Jackson wasn't the only one to drop them. When it comes to the all star show (which had mid-40s car counts), Jackson wasn't the only ones to pick up the all stars last year, and aren't the only ones bringing them back. If you follow the trends, it looks like Jackson is a sure bet to host the all stars again next year. Hopefully they pick up 5 or so more cars, 50 looks pretty great on the internet. Then again I'm sure someone will be on here complaining about too many cars showing up or something. People always find a way to complain about something.

The announcement that the ASCS had been dropped from the September Nationals at Jackson took place in June. Three months ahead of the Nationals. It's in one of the news releases from June on the Jackson Motorplex website. Neither party gave a full disclosure as to why. I have discovered that often times hearing one side is not sufficient so all I can say is that I understand it became a scheduling conflict. I don't think it created bad blood between the two parties, but time will tell, I suppose. But as it was made public in June, it was no surprise at all when the Nationals did come around. If you look at all three released schedules by Jackson, ACSC National and ASCS Midwest and also the posted website schedules, you will see a difference. The truth is, it doesn't matter why to anybody but the folks at Jackson Motorplex and those at ASCS.
