Quick question.  I posted this from work but when I try to post from my laptop at home it says I have to hit the SUBMIT BUTTON.  Been here for 20 years, what the hey is a Submit Button and how do you hit it?

Unless there is a last minute change I'm quite sure there isn't any PPV for the All Stars at Jackson.

Why after being with speedshift last year does Jackson not do PPV this year?    Heck even Rock rapids has their weekly show on PPV?   TMAC gets bashed every year for not having the front row challenge on PPV.  I honestly don’t recall his exact answer as to why he doesn’t. , but im genuinely curious why this weeks show wouldn’t be PPV? And also wondering if the fall nationals won’t be PPV either?     That would be a shame IMO

I don't think the All Stars offer up a whole lot of PPV, so that may be the deal for this week. Not sure why Jackson and Speed Shift don't have it going this year. 

Hmmm, no clue. I seem to have issues at work as well. When I go to post itll say something like "Your connection is not secure" and it dropkicks me out.

I think that has to do with firewall and security settings which I cant change at work, but maybe its the same type of deal for your home computer?

You're right, if I'm a promoter, I'll ignore the thousands of fans outside of the area willing to pay for PPV and hope I can make that add up by forcing the few that live close enough but would rather watch at home. Sound business decision!

Take it up with the All Stars regarding this weekend. As for Jackson.....I'd guess they didn't have thousands tuning in to the regular weekly show PPV or they would have done that again this year.

I wasn't speaking in any specifics, more of a general thing. 

I just think promoters mindset on this is all wrong, great example would be Knoxville last Saturday. WoO rained out, so myself (along with many others based on what I saw on Twitter) tuned into the Cushion. That's a prime example on why it works - Knoxville had no chance at getting any of our money based on not being able to attend for whatever reason, however, with a webcast, they can get their share of the PPV revenue. 

The Front Row Challenge is always the one that makes least sense to me. I can understand McCarl and crew wanting to maintain the event having an intimate, party-like feeling, but you're shutting out a ton of potential viewers given that it's a Monday night event when 99% of the US sprint car scene is shut down outside of central Iowa. They have to be passing up thousands of dollars of additional revenue based on that decision. 

Jackson has a deal with speed shift to show the replay every week.  Usually Sunday afternoon or night It’s available in their replay section.   I would guess the same for tomorrow.  I hope anyway.

Believe I read somewhere that Jackson is being taped for MAVtv, hence the reason for no PPV.

TMACs deal is simple and smart. You have all these people already in Knoxville and the surrounding areas. How many of those would just stay in Dingus, campground, hotel, ect if they could just rent it online? Terry is smart and knows his crowd is going to be quite a bit larger by not offering that option. Which means, more concessions and beer sales that you do not get off of internet viewers. 

Anyone else notice that this "on at" character deletes every post he makes? I've only seen his name in quotes but have yet to see a single post by him lol.
