I've seen a lot of posters claim sprint car racing should follw the late models lead when it comes to rules. Great idea. West Liberty, a big late model track in Iowa is no longer running. I think they were getting about 9 LM's a week. Now Farley Iowa is shutting down weekly racing and running specials only after their June 1st race drew only 13 LM's. I' Don't claim to be an expert or have the answers, but whatever DLM or IMCA  did to make their racing more affordable did not work. Most tracks don' even draw a decent number of mods anymore.
