Great racing too! When I got there I thought no way will this track hold up to the heat. I was wrong. It was about as perfect as it gets. Dry slick almost to the point of taking rubber with a thin bottom that nobody could consistently run and a cushion against the wall.

Oswald,
Did you not get the memo? I've been reading the other threads and sprint car racing is dead.

They off to a slow start this year but they're looking a lot better now. They had a ton of 360s at Jackson the other night before it rained out. Looks like it's going to be a good season.

LMAO.... Good one Egras. Been hearing the "sprint car racing is dying" deal for years on this forum, and of course it's for the same reason it was dying 20 years ago! And of course the WoO is about to go out of business too...

Yes, I have a good number of WoO races on the calendar for 3 of the next 4 weekends. I am sure the stands will be 1/2 empty and there will be no lines at the concessions and restrooms. HA!!!

Knoxville defintley has the best track prep around,no doubt.....But now lets work on sending the two seater out while trying to do a live driver interview and,I understand two seater makes money, but you couldn't hear a word Ian Madsen or Nate Van Haaften said..Try one first then the other....

The racing last Saturday was amazing. From heats to features that may of been one of the best nights I can remember. Thank you to Kendra and the Knoxville team for running a timely event. It definitely helps out when bringing little ones.
