Park City, Kansas – March 28, 2018 – On the eve of the open practice session for the eighth annual “Park City Cup/Air Capital Shootout” and the 29th consecutive season opener for the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products, here are some vital information for those making the trip to 81 Speedway Thursday-Saturday night, March 29-31, 2018.
 
Once again there will be no support division on any of the three nights.

Most, if not all, above motels have parking available for race trailers and all are within five miles of 81 Speedway in Park City. Thursday night’s open practice session will see gates open at 5:00 PM with practice from 7:00 PM until 10:00 PM. Just announced will see a “just for fun” time trial session after practice on the newly-configured three-eighths mile clay oval. Grandstand admission is free while pit passes are $2. 
 
Grandstand general admission tickets for Friday night’s $1500 to win show are $25 for ages 11 and up; $10 for children 6-11. Pit gates will open at 5:00 PM with heat race action slated for a 7:00 PM start time. Two complete set of heat races and that night’s $1500 to win will be on the race card. All pit passes are $35.
 
Championship Saturday night will see grandstand general admission tickets $25 for ages 11 and up; $10 for children 6-11 and all pit passes $35. Pit gates will open at 5:00 PM with first heat race set for a 7:00 PM start time. A complete set of heat races, last chance features will set the stage for the night’s $13,000 to win championship feature that will pay $600 just to start the twenty-two-car field. 
 
81 Speedway is located north of Wichita on I-135 to exit 16, then 0.7 mile west on 77th street in Park City.
