What's up with that? There's got to be more Mods around the Muskogee-Tulsa-Fort Smith-OKC area than that willing to travel to a good paying show.

First off, it is Outlaw Motor Speedway and drivers just don't wanna go there. Secondly, Tri-State Speedway in Fort Smith had twenty-four modifieds for their final points paying race, South Coffeyville had forty-one modifieds (dayum good ones too) for their $3000 to win, Brill Motor Speedway had their twenty-four or so for their $2000 to win and Ardmore had forty-one for their $3000 to win show.

Yes, Outlaws flyer said $5000 to win but * showed that the pay to win would be $2500 if less than thirty-five cars.

I missed the Brill and Mid-America shows altogether. That's a lot of shows in one weekend. Some of the big guns like Hughes and Weder were in Kentucky and Springfield, Missouri's Rex Merritt went all the way down to Texas.

that count would be predictable. bonehead idea to race that weekend.......especially on top of the tracks reputation. If anything they should have ran this next weekend - not last one. Most would say you do whats best for your own driver or track - that was obviously not it. Funny how such a nice facility might very well be in jeopardy to one that was dilapadated and bout to be condemned. Hey - what is the deal with Muskogee Fairgrounds?

$200.00 entry fee probably hurt too. Had a feeling the car count might leave a little to be desired but

my kid and I went anyway. My kid is a BIG, Fuzzy Withrow fan (they took the weekend off). .YIKES! Dry, slick and almost unbearably dusty after wheel pack. Skaggs' forte, he was in his own time zone even with cautions neither Frailey nor Eddie Martin could stay with him. Hobby "A" was the best race of the night very heated battle between Brookin Stephens #56 and Kevin Flock #45. Overall a pretty disappointing deal.Well except for the Hooter's girls...
