Its really hard to pick against Schatz. He owns Knoxville. But stranger things have happened like JJ beating him last year. My pick to win the 2017 Knoxville Nationals and FINALLY gets the monkey off his back...."The Brownsburg Bullet" Joey Saldana!!!
Proudly supports:
Logan Seavey, Brent Marks and "Big Sexy" Brandon Overton

I'm hoping for Stewart or Gravel. But it's going to be Schatz winning #10

My prediction:
Schatz wins. No suprise there.
After Schatz, those that have the best chance for a top 10 are Gravel, Kerry Madsen, Sweet, Brown, Stewart and Pittman.
If Larson runs, he would sneak in there, follwed by Kemenah and Terry McCarl.
A mainers would include Bell, Ian Madsen, Shaffer, Kaeding, Saldana, Dobmeier
Hodnet, Jeffrey, Bayston, Ruetzel, Veal, Sheldon Haud and Logan Schuchart and Dusty Zomer.
Johnson misses the A-main.
This is based on how these guys have been doing this year as well as past Nationals performance.

I agree with Donny winning for the 10th time. But Kerry Madsen will have a say in it if he can position himself in the first 3 rows for Saturday night. And he should tonight with quick time, a 3 or 4th place heat finish, and a top 5 in the feature should give him around 480+ points. Except Schatz will qualify in the top 5, win his heat, and finish top 3 in the feature for a point total around 488 or so and start from the front row.

Schatz. By 18 seconds.
My darkhorse for a podium finish: Trey Starks.

I like your thinking.
I will go with 1. Brownie 2. K. Madsen 3. Schatz
