Usually have better things to do but was excited to see WOO racing on TV.Of course they were late models, also had sno cross, tractor pulling and even gals racing ATVs but never any sprint cars.Lucas Oil seems to be major sponser.I happen to like midgets and sprints but very seldom are they on.

Shortie12, You must've been watching CBS Sports network. You need to get a cable provider that offers MAV TV. They broadcast lots of open wheel racing including midgets, wing sprint cars, non wing dirt track sprint cars and winged pavement sprint cars. They also do a LIVE broadcast of the Saturday night finals of the Chili Bowl, plus the new season of Dave Despain's interview show starts Dec. 18th. They also have delayed broadcasts of most of the Crown Jewel events on the Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model schedule and many delayed broadcasts of the ASCS National Sprint Car Series--this year they did all three nights of the Knoxville 360 Nationals and the final night of the Knoxville 410 Nationals--one hour show for each.

We used to get MAV-TV and it disappeared, but was as you stated CBS S.I will check it out.Just couldnt fiqure out why everything else seems to get coverage. Most of the junk they have isnt worth watching.Im sure some people must like fake shows like Barter Kings,Storage wars,Shipping wars, and AmreicanPickers but not me . I like real open wheel racing. There used to be a 30 segment every week on WOO and Dave Despain is one of my favorites.I also enjoy Ray Evermans Americana Thanks for replying.

shortie12, Follow up to my previous post--MAV (during the WoO racing season) also has the weekly 30 minute show-"Winged Nation" on Saturday morning. This show covers winged sprint car racing ( 410 & 360 ) from across the U.S., not just WoO's. I also like Ray Evernham's "Americarna"--which is on the "Velocity" network. MAV used to have a 30 minute weekly show focused strictly on racing at Knoxville Raceway but it was dropped before the 2016 season started because of funding problems. In my mind, if you can receive it, MAV TV is well worth the extra money to view it. Most, if not all, of their programming is done in HD but not all programing providers broadcast it in HD to their home subscribers.
