Great race, Statler led the whole way but it almost got away in the 2nd segment when he got caught in spinning traffic and BK got by. The yellow came out and Statler was back in the lead. The two of them had the field covered most of the race. A late race caution put the top 4 nose to tail for the last restart. Day stayed with them on the restart and over the last few laps started trying to get under BK. As Statler crossed the line for the Key win, Day took BK on the highside and beat him to the line for 2nd by 0.027 seconds!

Cowboy was up to 5th at the end of the first segment but lost a head gasket. Nelson who started on the pole, tangled early and wound up 36 laps down at the end. Not sure what happened that Delte got DQ'd after a lap 12 incident. No total tally on the lap money, I heard some of the numbers, it was good. All of it went to the big guy, lol.

Excellent crowd tonight, they did announce that the Wright One Construction 360 Series would return in 2008.

Big thanks to John Prentice for letting me camp in the booth tonight and the scorers for the prints.

Results:

1. Jason Statler, 2. Ronnie Day, 3. Brent Kaeding, 4. Evan Suggs, 5. Jerry Bonnema, 6. Kevin Pylant, 7. Daniel Hood, 8. Andy Ferris, 9. Keith Day, 10. Wayne Katen, 11. Tyler Schmidt, 12. Burt Foland, 13. Mark Barroso, 14. Jason Newton, 15. Craig Stidham, 16. Joey Madera (?), 17. Ricky Wright, 18. Craig Smith, 19. Brad Furr, 20. Kurt Nelson, 21. Brent Bjork, 22. Steve Osborne, DNS Kyle Hirst, DQ Jeff Delte

Margin of Victory: 0.940 seconds

stu the 11d and the 23r were both dq for not entering the yellow flag work area the right way. they both drove in front of the pit board in route to the yellow flag work area. at the drivers meeting all drivers were told at least 3 times not to drive in front of the pit board or you be dq no exceptions.

Kyle lost a Lifter, if He could have found a Lifter, He would have been good to go. Joey was fast, for a while Brad Furr looked to be the Car to beat.

THey never did talk to Brad, Im wondering if he just drove it in too hard, or someone checked up, or just rusty. That was a huge oops somewhere. Not pickin on Brad, he's a fav, just curious, not harpooning anyone.
