Susquehanna is small enough it would get enough cars Friday nights if they paid at least $300 to start. Port and Lincoln both get away with running Sat nights. Other tracks could run special shows mid week and Sundays. They have been running 100 shows a year in Central PA since the sprint car sprouted from the bug in the 60s. Fri, Sat and Sun night racing was common place for decades.
To do away with all the different classes they just need to make the 410s cheaper. It is as simple as that. They by far pay the best. If they were cheaper a lot more people would run them. SOD tire rule and Brad Doty wing angle rule with no wickerbill and you would see a bunch of different low buck people building cheap motors again. 360s & 358s would also be able to race with 410s at most of the tracks, especially once it slicks off. It's pretty idiotic to spend $1500 a race for $300 to start the way engine costs are now with them stuck wide open. Costs have really started to escalate again since Hoosier reappeared and now that they added wickerbills and have to be competitive with the new Outlaw time trial format when they are in town. 900-950 hp is a necessity now. Things are headed in the wrong direction cost wise.

All good points made above ,but to cut expenses would be the answer especially by the WoO who is the guiding light of sprint car racing . How long can this trend continue ? not long I guess , as teams are struggling to make there costs . Here is a interesting fact told to me , that non-wing sprints can get about 18-19 races out of there motors as compared to 5 to 6 races for a winged car .

It is nice to see Brent Marks turning the corner with Maxim after struggling with XXX so long.
